      +Mark Nowhereman okay so I have got a question. So when your coming up to a red light and you need to stop, you go into neutral and then press the break or will it slowly stop over a short period of time? I know this question may sound dumb, but I just want to make sure.

    I’ve never ridden a motorcycle or a manual before but am considering getting one, what would happen if you didn’t slowly release the clutch when gear shifting and just fully let it go and hit the throttle at the same time?

    • @isaiah3735
      @isaiah3735 Před 2 lety +16

      One of two things.
      1: stall (engine no run no more)
      2: you launch your ass brutally into the atmosphere (go very fast and probably hit car)

    Quick question so anytime the rpms get to around 9 or so that’s when I should be shifting in each gear so let’s say I’m in second and I’m giving it gas it goes up to 9 is that when I’m supposed to shift up to third and so on or is around what speed.

    This was by far the best video I've seen of how to operate a motorcycle and start and place it into gear etc. I am planning on getting one really soon been wanting to get one but just been very hesitant b/c I've loss a couple friends on bikes but I just told myself I don't allow friends whom I've loss in cars to stop me from driving so why in the hell would I let that hold me back mentally when it comes to ridiing a bike. I believe I'll be safe riding but I've got to be super cautious b/c in the area i'm in there's a lot fo traffic and people don't respect the riders like they should

    Noob Question: That 1st gear to Neutral gap is kinda difficult to feel tho, i'm thinking i wouldn't be able to properly feel it if i scooped it halfway up or just totally switched to 2nd gear. My question is, what will happen if you are running on 1st gear and suddenly you have to stop for some reason(maybe an unexpected car on your front stoped). Then let's say i panicked and pressed on the clutch then scooped too hard up to 2nd gear instead of neutral? Am i dead now?

Convex mirrors are not a substitute for a proper shoulder check... good bike lesson, but wouldnt take a driving lesson from him haha.

      Clearly none of you have driven in Canada, at least not Alberta where apparently anyone can fkn immigrate here.
