    I have heard of some people having throttle/idle or oil leak issues. Obviously, if I am spending 11K on something, I want to know that it's not going to be a headache. My last bike was a '04 CBR600RR, which was amazing. I put 30K miles on it in three years and beyond tires and oil changes, never had a single issue. GREAT bike, but I'm older now and I wanted something a little more sophisticated than the japanese four. I just don't want any problems...

    You're right about the ride height. I'm 5'9 and I have to slide a little forward on the seat to get my feet completely flat. I'm not tippy toeing it, but I feel like I'm stretching a little. I get a lot of shit about it lol, but I don't care I love the bike. It sounds like nothing I've ever heard and its so easy to ride, and they look amazing! I have a 2010 D675SE. Nice bike dude!

    Just wanted to say I really appreciate you doing this review after riding it for a while. I've just taken a new 2014 one out this morning for a test and I am in two minds to whether to just grab it and go nuts or walk away. Town riding was really bumping and stiff. Nice custom work too, very subtle.

    Good review and nice mods. I had one of the first off the line in March '06 and loved every minute of it. Had to sell it, but seeing yours has me Jonesing for an 'R'! Have you tried on the seat replacement cowl? First thing I did to mine and It looks pretty good. Might save you replacing the tail = more cash for other mods. :-)

    Didn't have that problem with my 675, but my RSV was like that. Best tip is to select 2nd then tap your foot down onto the peg at an angle where it just hits the lever right. Takes a little practice, then you'll get it 19 times out of 20.

    I agree, however when you bring the Street Triple up to speed (over 100) it might get a little out of control with no fairings. I personally have hit 140+ on this bike and it feels like 80 as long as your down.

    See what you've gotta do is find a race team and just buy their used tires and put them on the bike. I just got my '12 675R 2 weeks ago and it still had the factory tires on it. Went to the shop and got a slightly used pirelli for the front and a michelin for the rear for $110. Cant beat that.

    Check out Sport Rider 1/4 mile times, the 2008 cbr600rr beat the triumph 675r in the 1/4 mile! Sport Rider ran a 10:52 in the 1/4 mile on a stock 2008 honda cbr600rr. What scares me about Triumph is the reliability, not as reliable as a Honda. Just my take. I love the looks of the triumph 675r.

    @griff500grr Před 11 lety

    The biggest difference is the 675 delivers it's power lower down. In a straight line drag there's not much in it, but in the real world on the R6 you're waiting for the revs to build or having to knock it down 2 gears to get anywhere because there's bugger all power beneath 8k, by which time the 675's gone. I also had a 1000 twin which has massive grunt low down, but was all over by 11k. When it comes to bikes and cylinders, THREE is the magic number! Sound? That's just taste but I made a vid...
