This is really the only video without idiot background music but just pure engine sounds, i occasionally turn the music of and put on this video instead!
Am i the only one around here who puts this on before they go to bed to sleep better?

2021 and still the best exhaust sound on CZcams.
Yes it's a stock arrow exhaust that is offered at your local dealer. The exhaust comes with an insert that you'll have to take out to make it sound sweet.
Sweet lord can't wait to put an arrow kit on my Daytona... By far the best sounding bike I have ever heard.

that wirrrllllling sound is one of my favorite aspects of the daytona (I have an 06). That induction noise is part of what sold me on the bike (and the fact that it was the only bike i could fit on being 6'5").

I bought a ODB tool and hooked it up to my bike, i was then able to disable the exup using a piece of software. Its not all that complicated really, but if your unsure its best to take it to your dealer. I cant imagine it costing that much.

The helmet mount was used to attach the camera under the exhaust. The helmet mount is the one with the two nylon straps and buckles.
Great camera angle. Moto GP should incorporate on board footage like this for practice or quali and see how we'll it's received. I definitely will try this on my bike! Nice vid

If you remove the exup valve you have to modify the spring to always hold the valve open. The computer needs a new map loaded in so that it does not look for the exup valve, other wise you will get a check engine light. Its all pretty straight forward and most info can be found by searching some Triumph forums. i can't say you won't have any problems but its a very common modification and a lot of people have had success.

Hey man I'd like to say congratulations on having such a remarkable bike and an awesome sounding exhaust. How is the maintenance cost on the bike? Nice boots too by the way, I ride with SMX-5 as well.

Pure goosebumps listening to this. Did you remap after removing the EXUP valve? If not did you notice any loss of low end torque afterwards?
Actually the default postion is open. You just have to use a program like tuneboy or tune ecu to disable the exup motor and your good to go.

hi, i have a 2012 daytona 675R with slip on arrow exhaust and after watching your video, i got encouraged to follow in your foot steps. i just had the cat deleted and the exup gutted and the bike sounds sweet and much louder =), thanks. my question is my engine light is on and i know you already mentioned it but much did it cost you to get that done and did you have to buy other parts like a power commander? dynoed? etc?

Nice vid BTW, how did you mount your gopro? You just flip it upside down then change the camera view in the settings? Did you remap or dyno after you installed the arrow?
Do you notice much power loss through the lower rev ranges after removing the exup ? and is this the titanium slip on , or the full arrow system ?
Id say I'm more then happy with the bike in every aspect. The exhaust disguises the wirrrlllling sound of the triple somewhat but it is still pretty noticeable.

Not using a quick shifter. Or the clutch for the most part. Just controlling the throttle through the gear changes.

Used the closed case for this video. The open one recorded to much wind noise. No external mic just the built in one on the go pro.
Now this is more like it. No munis but the music from the inline 3 :)
