Just bought Cell Shaded Mister Sinister, need to try this!
Nice! I did make a specific Mr Sinister one as well so please check that one out. But if TL;DR, he's a bit tougher than the other figures. In particular the toros is kinda wonky. But let me know how it goes! czcams.com/video/BvE2W-v5M5Q/video.html

Not bad! I need to try this.
I actually got ANOTHER Wolverine just to redo this because I'm rather picky with myself and the results. Unsure if I'll film and post the redo though.
I subscribed to your channel because you love your hobby. Your not like the other CZcamsrs loud, obnoxious, ego maniacs. Your informative thoughtful and engaging. Thank you for having a classy informative channel.
This really means the world to me that you said this so thank you SO much! I have been trying to create the kind of channel that I would enjoy watching. Because as you know, there are other CZcamsrs out there that come off very high energy, and that can be hard to take in sometimes. So I enjoy having a more relaxed approach with some chill music.
Whenever I do this I just stick to qtips and dab the excess so it's not soaking wet. Also acetone definitely works better on softer plastics like on the limbs and not so much on the harder ones like the torso. For some it eats away at the harder plastic more than the softer areas.
Yeah for the next one I do I'm going to try to do it all with just cotton swabs to see how that goes. Thanks for the tips!
hey good job ... its always fun doing stuff like this to your figures.... ive seen a few people remove the shading now... i may the only person that has ADDED shading to their VHS xmen LOL
I've seen someone else add the shading too and I think it's amazing! I saw a Dare Devil with shading and it was SO good. I actually do like the cel shading overall, but some people are finding these de-cel shading videos helpful so I'm going to keep making them for now! :)
@@ComicallyToys for sure i can see the appeal to both .. although I'm sure my customs probably are not as good as the ones u saw lol .. i have them on my channel though if u are ever interested
I find it far easier to remove paint from figures if I disassemble the figure first. Makes it easier to isolate the parts.
Also, keeping a bowl of soapy water on hand to wash the acetone off the plastic every couple minutes really helps mitigate any damage the acetone can do to the figure.
Yep I definitely learned that the hard way! Also I don't need acetone anymore! I got a whole new thing I'll be using from now on and it's freaking fantastic! I tried it out in my latest video! czcams.com/video/Kt-FFEVnV34/video.html
Hi there, have you tried removing cell shading from the new symbiote spider man VHS 2pack? Tq
I have it, and am wanting to do it, but am still trying to figure out how to remove it around the white symbol since it's really all over the place on that. But I'll see if I have time to try to tackle it!
Hasbro will release without cell shading X-men animated figure
I think if they do, it might take a long time for them to do it even though it would be easy.
Will you remove mr sinisters cel shading as well?
I wasn't considering it since I didn't think there would be that much interest. Would it be helpful for you if I did make that video?
@@ComicallyToysYes it would be very helpful.I think he’s the one figure in this set that had the most cel shading.I think he would look a lot better without it.
Also his cape should of been red instead of black.Even in the show it appears in red.
What paint did you use?
Just something I got locally from Michaels. It's a bit too light for Jean Grey(even though that's who I originally got it for) but is pretty spot on for Wolverine.
hasbro probably going to reissue without the shading
They have made a LOT of Wolverine figures so I really wouldn't be surprised if they do reissue without shading!
this is crazy they gotta stop this cel shaded trash
Hahaha it's definitely not for everyone! I personally like them(but I basically like everything so my opinion doesn't count haha) but I know fans are pretty divided on these figures. I'm just curious how they will release Professor X in the VHS packaging since he has to have the chair too....
