Off-Road adventure ride on my Harley Davidson to Boolboonda tunnel

- in this vlog I travel to Boolboonda tunnel. this ride was not intended to be an adventure ride on my Harley Davidson but... it sure did turn into one. i share with you how to get to Boolboonda tunnel and also the route i took. This is the first real "off roading" I've done on my Harley. it was actually quite fun ! i can now say that I'm an adventure rider again lol.... maybe i should get a Harley Davidson pan America for the next ride. Also I'd like to add that Mt perry has a bp up one of the side streets which i found out later once at gin gin with phone reception. I'd like to do more Harley motorcycle vlogs and also Harley Davidson long maul riding in the future.

Hello Matt! Boy... you had my attention big time with this ride! I enjoyed the scenery while you were riding out to the tunnel. Very pretty country you have there in Australia! Then when you got to the tunnel and were almost out of fuel... I could feel your panic or concern to find some fuel! I was on the edge of my seat too hoping you would not run out of fuel! All was good when you finally located a fueling station! And you got yourself a gatorade! Hope your ride back home was a good one. Thanks for taking us along on this ride! John...

You're a legend man! Don't know how long you've lived in Qld, but this is how our roads are! Also, never trust GPS, ask the locals whenever you stop for fuel or food - "is there fuel up ahead?" "Are the roads good going this way?" AND get a 1 litre fuel bottle and carry it!
Also, get a full-face lid, when it's windy, dusty or raining, visor down and ride on....(even a few of the blokes in my club wear them lol)
Haha yeah you are right ! The roads here are pretty "cooked". Atleast it made for a good vlog 🤣 I definitely should of asked someone as it was 1 block back in Mt perry 😅 I've got an open face I usually wear on bigger trips idk why I didn't wear it that day haha. Would love a modular helmet actually... apparently they are for old men though 🤣

Enjoyed the whole vid Matt, very entertaining, loved the sound tracks & cuts / scenery clips. Love the outback, certainly looking very lush still for mid summer. I remember my first trip in WA cutting across from Albany cutting back up across to the north west coast of WA, yip parts were dirt roads. GPS lost signal, came across a flooded road where the water looked swift. Stopped walked across a 50 metre river across the road, gladly not to deep otherwise it was going to a 2hr back track. These types of adventures are certainly what you always remember 🙂Glad you made it to a petrol station. Love the end, free drink, also get a free wash for the bike, resurgence jeans & hog lights haha. Enjoy the Jeans!

I use earplugs made by Earmold Australia , they make them to fit your ears , comfortable and don’t get stuck in your ears , mine are also blue tooth so I can listen to music .

For ear pkugs, i used to use Eargasm plugs (i use them onstage, death metal vocalist), they are good, but, now i am using BOLLSEN, strictly for motorcycle riding, and these are excellent, my opinion.

Dirt roads on a Harley. Welcome to my world. I'll bet if you asked your grandfather he would tell you, most of his riding was on the dirt. Beware of washouts that will make you tankslap. Just ride it out. At least your fairing makes it look like an adventure bike🤣🤣
Quick tip. Running low on fuel gets sediments into your fuel lines, which hopefully your fuel filter will stop, so your injectors don't get clogged. I generally try not to go under 1/4 tank
