What size is the frame? S or M? How tall are you in centimeters?

You may be able to save another pound if you replace those WTB hoops with a set of carbon. Also those tires are on the heavier side.

Thank you. These tires are definitely one of the heaviest. However, I'm so used to the grips to where I feel a little uncomfortable to switch to lighter tires. Yes, a set of carbon wheels would be nice too.

I have a 2021 Niner carbon hardtail with a cracked/fractured frame that they won't warranty so i am all finished with carbon frames. I have the XO crank, cassette, 1240 gram carbon wheels with DT 180 hubs and 54 tooth upgrade, it has a FOX factory 100 fork so i am wondering if i can run a 100 on that frame? I see those frames are about 35% off now so i might swap everything over.
Did you ever weigh the frame by itself? it looks like around 1800 grams on their website but i will call Lynskey to verify.

I ordered as a complete bike and never got a chance to weigh the frame, but Lynskey is pretty accurate with their stuff. The fork that is on here is 120mm which I think is the minimum you can/should run. 100mm will make the bike/head tube even steeper, I'm not sure if I'd recommend that. But sure do call them and talk detail; they'll fill you in more.
YES they're having a fat discount right now.

@@organicbikepacking7312 Hi, just a quick question, i just sold my 2021 Niner carbon hardtail with the cracked frame and thinking of a Pro 29 build using a Fox 34 factory step cast 130 as they don't offer a 120. Would you suggest a 44 offset instead of a 51 as i won't be doing much serious climbing or descending to keep the steering a bit tighter with the 44? I can live with a few extra pounds with that frame VS carbon for the reliability aspect and T is VERY classy along with those beautiful welds unlike the AL crap the companies dish out now, like a crap factory AL seatpost compared to a Thomson Masterpiece.

@@zxtenn Hi Jim, I think 130 fork would be a pretty sweet build with the Pro 29. However, I don't know enough about the "fork offset" to where I can recommend which one to go with. I'd love to learn about it more in the future. Thanks.

@@organicbikepacking7312 Considering my riding style at age 68 which is relaxed and not bouncing off things i think a 120/130 would be fine. Regarding the 51/44 offset, i had a 2019 Rocky Mountain Instinct BC that had the 51 then when they redesigned the Instinct they went to the 44. I guess for faster response, i will call Lynskey but sometimes it's the rider's choice on what type of riding someone does, at my age riding for the cardio and leg strength is more important than riding difficult and dangerous for me trails if i decide to build another bike.
I just had an epidural shot for my back yesterday so i need to be careful as well as have some fun from time to time but no more carbon frames, that was #2 regarding damage that would never have happened with an AL or TI frame, a typical AL has some NASTY looking welds and are priced about the same or slightly less that a Lynskey frame.
