- I finally bought my vintage mustang that I wanted since i was a kid. 1969 mustang coupe. It is an original 302 2 barrel carburetor car with factory a/c. Engine and transmission are long gone and the care has been completely stripped apart by the previous owner who was going to restore it but never got to it. It came with mostly all the parts to put it back together including the front and rear seats, new in box shock towers, bumpers, window regulators and brackets, mostly all the trim ect… it came with a broken ford c-6 transmission from a 73-74 torino I believe and a 351 Cleveland block that has been sitting in water, rusting unfortunately. I may rebuild the C-6 just because i have it but we’ll see. Probably going to hunt down a 302 junkyard engine and work it over but for now I’m going to focus on the rusty floor pans, cracked shock towers, and body panels. I want to get paint and glass on this thing asap. Since this thing is completely stripped it helps me get right to work. The downside is I didn’t get to take it apart so I’ll have to reference my 64 1/2 to 73 mustang restoration manual. It has exploded views of mostly all the components. No concerned about originality here. This will be more of a restomod situation for me. Looking forward to making a ton of videos to document my journey.

I bought a 67 coupe with a 289 auto. Did all the normal recondition stuff, including GT parts, breaks, Shelby HiPo 289 clone engine, Wimbledon white paint, posi 9 bolt and close ratio toploader 4spd.. Ebay sale! Dude caught a flight into SFO, a taxi to my house, dropped some major cash and drove it home. Took me a couple of years.. very rewarding! ...and driving it was a blast!
My dream car ❤ enjoy your mustang lovely moter looking forward seeing more videos 👍
Huge project but wow, just keep thinking of what it's going to be!! That will keep you going. Good luck and I will be following you. :)
Thank you for the support
If it has the 351 rebuild it. Those 4bl heads are really good if you install larger valves and cut for screw in studs and adjustable valves. Good luck sir
That's awesome Man! I'm in the same situation and same car too. a lot of work but one piece at a time. The best of luck to you
