69 mustang front clip checking for rust and rot (work begins)

Finally got to DMV and registered the 69 mustang. Now i can begin working on this thing. The plan is to start with the shock towers and go from there. This is the first real in depth look at what the front clip is looking like and things look promising with minimal surface rust so far. When I bought it i checked the frame rails and other areas for rot but now i can really start peeling away panels, paint, undercoating, and seam sealer to see what’s hiding underneath.
