I am back in the Family Car Graveyard. We will attempt to get the 1966 Mustang moving again. Will She run like new again? Can she be resurrected? Is a Revival Possible? Will the "Old Man" put it on the road? Will she move for the First time in years? All these questions answered on this episode of RevStoration.
Do you think the Mustang looks like a FRED?

VGG you are not
Nope.. Derek is one of a kind.. well I am too because I'm trying to be me and not him. Love his stuff but this is RevStoration and not VGG! Thanks for watching and pointing that out.
@@RevStoration Saying weight reduction to Rust.. kinda made me thing you wanted to be a Derek wanna be.. no harm intended.
I watch him often. I'm a subscriber and a channel vice grip member of VGG. I have called rust weight reduction for years. I like Derek because he is clean and good at what he does but I'm trying to be the best me I can be. Thanks again.
Rust out has been called weight reduction before VGG I used to say that when I was just a teen 40 years ago. I like watch VGG though he is funny.
@@stopcensoringmyfreespeech3280 Me too!
Seeing that Mustang pull out of the overgrowth on its own power just made me smile!! Great job!
She has life left without a doubt.
I think a calling is a calling and people should respect that. The best thing you got going on the channel is being yourself and enjoying working on old cars, that what we are here to see.
I think it is important to let people know that the channel is important to me but it is not my number one priority. It is something we do and enjoy, we love chatting with people like Richard Hill.... but this is sometime we love to do when time allows. Thanks for understanding... God Bless.
The 200ci 66 Mustang holds a special place in my heart. My dad bought me one as my first car for my 16th birthday. That was almost 29 years ago and that car is still my daily driver. Through the years I have seen a lot of people come up to admire the car and tell me about the one they used to have and regret getting rid of. Just today I stepped out to my car at work and found a note on the seat that had been slipped through the gap in the window, not addressed to me, but addressed to the Mustang as kind of a love letter to the car they once had and a promise to never take it for granted if they ever get another one. (sounds corny, I know, but it really brightened my day) I have heeded the warnings of all these people and plan to hold on to the car for as long as I can continue to maintain it and repair it. I have driven that little green mustang for 16 months shy of 3 decades and hope to keep driving it until the day I die or get raptured.
Awesome... Thanks for sharing..
That anvil would pay for a bunch of repairs for that mustang… Good to see you guys. God bless!
The anvil without a doubt is a nice piece... I just saw it for the first time today, in his scrap metal pile.... No longer in the scrap pile...
@@RevStoration good thing. They got so expensive a few years ago.
Rev I understand family is more important than CZcams any time God Bless
We love making the content, but time sometimes isn't available.
Yes
WHOA!! Yes, I remember seeing that car flooded and wow, that river is far away!
Yep, the water rises and it can travel a ways.
@@RevStoration so I saw. Goodness.
I would like to see not only getting these old cars and trucks running. But also doing a little restoration as well.
I would like a little restoration too... but the restoration is coming along... slowly but coming...
I am diggin that pit and gonna dig myself one too.
It is old school, but so is the Ole Man.. He does not stay still much.
What an excellent idea. That garage is so awesome
Perfect way to end a bad work day !
Thanks Tim... hope you enjoy it.
We all love you guys too and God bless the family
Thanks Eugene.. I hated that I left the fudge pops in the car... next one..
Absolutely love you all my favorite channel makes my day God Bless my friends 😁😁💟💟
Mary, this channel needs about 100,000 more just like you.... Thanks for all you do in the way of encouraging this guy... Thanks..
God has brought you and your wonderful family in to my life and for that l am grateful you have a blessed week my friends
Rev, STAY HEALTHY! BE HEALTHY!
SAME FOR REV'S DAD!!
Thanks Howard..
@@RevStoration I mean that now..If you will..
You guys are the best people and you work hard god bless you and your hole family
Thanks Alfred... We serve and try to live for an awesome King.
I enjoy all your videos I'm not a Ford guy but still enjoy them you are blessed to still have your father spend as much time with him as you can
Amen Mike... We enjoy our time together.. Thanks for watching.
Rev, whenever you put out content I will be watching. I am glad that you don't plan on quitting your job. One thing I love about RevStoration is your love for the Lord.
Thank you very much. We enjoy making the content and hope to continue it for a long time. God Bless!
I for one love the bond between you and your dad. It shows through the lense that you both enjoy this way of spending time together. The cars are an added bonus REV.
Hope the channel grows too 100k subs by years end.
The ole man and you deserve it.
Thanks John. We enjoy making the content. God Bless.
Appreciate your testimony as you provide content. It is for me, an escape from today’s times, while I work and maybe someday I’ll have the opportunity to pull something from the weeds and bring back to life. Agree the calling is for a lifetime and will continue to watch as you post videos in whatever timing you have. God Bless you and your dad!
Steve, thank you for watching.. We enjoy making the content and blessed to share our auto adventures and our Lord.
Hi Rev and the Ole Man. Great stuff yet again, looks like you were having a lot of fun. Glad to see that the flood has cleared and hope you didn't have any damage. Keep up the great work and as always I thoroughly enjoyed watching. Cheers Chris.
Thanks Chris
Sir, there is a WORD for what the old man is adding onto the shop. "DOCK." Yep, I saw that river get within casting distance.
It may end up at the river before we know it... He will continue to add on..
You take care of you and your family that's what matters we will be here 💟💟
Thanks Mary
HI REV! HI REV'S DAD!!!
Yeah, the old cars needed to be warmed up before moving...
Like me... Thanks for watching Howard.
@@RevStoration I'm like that now.
My brain box is a bit sluggish when I first wake up...Too many years of being in a hurry here.
Oh, uh, you're welcome! It's always a pleasure visiting with y'all!
good to see you back on! God first old fords later lol (old guys rule) God bless
Thanks Robert and I agree
We’re here together enjoying you and your dads fun with restoration and always the jokes Rev..
Thanks friend
Thanks Bud
I think we can wait until you post new content on your schedule. You have a responsibility to your Lord, wife, kids ,parents, friends and your flock before us viewing CZcams. You are giving us more than just car repair lessons. Most all of realize that. Thank you for taking all of us along on your journey!
Thanks for watching and being apart of the journey..
Love the Mustang! Those old straight sixes are great engines.
Run like a sewing machine..
It's a blessing you made this channel thank you ✌
Thanks Brother... we enjoy it.
Happy the river left well enough alone. The Galaxie didn't deserve the spa treatment. Really pleased with your work on the Falcon. The Neutral Safety Switches are a pain at times. Sure a bunch of folks had a hankering to see the Stang, as they have a kind of following there as well as around the Heartland here in Ohio. At least you can find the sheet metal for that 66' Coupe. Its not like some of these older Ford Full-sized autos with only two warehouses that have the goods. Take care and be well Rev. Keep you and the family in our prayers.
We are pleased that the river went back into the banks... Thanks for watching as always Murray.
Even if you only did one show a year, I would happily wait.
You are the best @Jerkwad152 that I know... Thanks!
It's nice to see you doing this with your dad!! I lost my dad in 1995 when I was 30 and miss him dearly everyday.
John, I do not want to take for granted the awesome opportunity that I have. Thanks for watching..
Hey Rev you do what you have to do, your fans of the channel (including me) will be here waiting for ya'll's return....This pandemic stuff is getting old fast for a lot of us...Watching these videos keep us sane..mostly lol...
Thanks Robby
Great work getting over 20,000 subs and only doing this channel a year. Great work you are doing to bring these old classics back to life again.
Thanks Larry... CZcams can be a strange beast... I can not figure it out, but I can keep trying..
I'm subscribed to both channels and am blessed with a patient disposition. Take your time Rev, we're here for you!
Thanks Rob.. I appreciate your patience... wish I had some of that..
Thank you for the content. Keep doing your job as a preacher and these videos. Working with your Dad has been an inspiration for me to be working with my son. Thank you!!
Thanks Steve... We are most certainly going to continue serving the King in just about every way possible.
Good to see yall again rev still no court date keep praying for me really need it know thank you God bless
Thanks Tommy.. Praying Gods Will.
Love seeing this beautiful Mustang worked on, I learned to drive with my mother's 64 1/2. Keep up the videos and stay safe.
Thanks Michael
Would love to watch you clean up the property and also the garage and turn it into a workshop for future projects ☺️
Me too Christian.. We would have to purchase another shop to store everything the Ole Man has in it. That is the biggest problem.. he has too much stuff and does the want to get rid of any of it.
Thanks rev. Love the mustang.(fred).. the willys wagon needs a name ..I have a 48 pickup named ..peices of 8....its taken 8 trucks to put it together...
We need to get the WIlly's moving again... fun video that is going to be to make.
IMO, the old man deserves to go to power tour in the 64 Galaxy.
The 64 would be an awesome car to show up in as well..
Hey atleast yall have coffee in the morn! That coolant looking like dunkin donuts😂 good job guys! Love the channel
Yep, rust colored coolant probably means she needs things like a flush, a water pump, a thermostat and probably a bunch more, but that is why we love them... They need our help.
@@RevStoration 🤙🏻 yea i had an f150 that had same coffee coolant!
New subscriber here sir. Just watched your video on the Caprice and loved it! I love how you and your family are involved in everything. I'm subscribed to VGG and Junkyard Digs as well. You're all awesome and down to earth. I'm a huge Mustang fan so this is right up my alley. God bless you all and keep up the great work!
Wow... Im honored to be in that group of CZcamsrs... Derek is one of my favorites as well. Thanks for coming along.
Great video. Keep up the videos as best as u can. I always be here waiting. God bless and stay safe.
I appreciate that, Emmett!
Great seeing you and the "Old Man " doing what you do, keep it up !!
Thanks for watching Frank..
Keep up the great work mate, love your clips and look forward to seeing them every time they come out. Love the mixed content you provide too. Love to see more but totally understand the world is crazy right now we have been in lockdown for over 200 days and cannot see family or go more then 5km from our homes. Grateful for any clips from you and your dad. Takecare and keep up the great work. Peter (Australia)
The pandemic is not playing.. Stay safe friend.
Great family channel. Thanks for sharing and awesome video.
Thanks so much
Great content as usual you and the old man are inspiring young and old alike.
I appreciate that and I know he does as well.
So awesome!! Apologies Rev I've been a little slow to comment, but life has been super busy! As always, I love the videos and always look forward to catching more of them! Please tell everyone that Darren in TX said hey!
Darren, I appreciate you watching... Whenever you get time... I promise I understand being busy..
Hey Rev this ol Canadian boy loves your vids. Working on a 72 Mustang myself. watching your vids makes my day keep up the good work !!

Carter, I truly appreciate you for watching... Share the channel with others.. God Bless.
Great video! Love someone showing love to the Fords.
Thanks Bobby... God Bless...
I LMAO when you'all said you had "sillycone" I could'nt stop laughin. And when your father asked you how you like that seat, I almost lost it!!
I don't know what else to call it... Thanks for watching..
@@RevStoration your southern accent is wonderful!!
Hey when y'all change the fluid in that transmission make sure and add a can of Lucas stop slip it will help revitalize the fluid that you can't get out of the transmission
We are going to do that fairly soon... all the fluids need a good changing.
It is an very easy rebuild if Lucas doesn't work.
lucas is usually snake oil...
Fred is perfect. Out of the pot into the pan...floor pan. Hot welds on the way.
Thanks Mike... We are going to run into one another one day... Say hello when that happens. Id be honored to shake your hand..
@@RevStoration I look forward to it.
My daily driver is a 66 mustang that’s been in my family for 40 years. It’s got a 289 and a 5 speed manual. It’s so fun to drive.
Awesome... they are fun to drive... but riding in one on a cement block... not ideal.
This is an interesting channel, thanks for sharing both the rev-stories, the restoration and the good old gospel ❤🙏🏾
Rev,you and Ole man stay the course yall make my days, God bless yall.
new coals? I love your channel rescues ! Big Mustang guy here. Save those classics!
Good way that be communicate..
Thanks for being a blessing. Never thought I’d say that about a Dawg and a Ford.
Thanks Michael... Hopefully you are encouraging the Dawgs today against Clemon.
@@RevStoration , I actually did.
love watching the videos from your channel
You are a blessing.
@@RevStoration my dad is also a preacher.so when i see him I get Bible study. love the revstories also.
Totally understand your position on the covid thing. I have lost 3 friends to covid during the past 3 weeks. I pray to our Lord to rid the world of this terrible pandemic. Return our world to normal again. Love watching your videos God bless you all.
Amen, Brian... Im praying the same way... God Bless and stay safe.
Excellent video Rev :) also Dad O also keep up excellent work on old classic vechiles and work on too! Also got joke for you both what car fuel tank say to carb also rest of fluids ! Fuel me and restored me so get back on road also get pedal to metal plus refind me to fun glory !
Thanks Andrew.. That is the goal.
Great video glad you posted keep them coming thanks
Thanks, will do!
Rev... thanks for serving the Lord!!! Blessings to you and your ministry!!
Thanks Brother... Nothing else I would rather do.
Good job Rev, she's just about ready for the autobahn!
Well, maybe not... fun for the dirtroad though.
Good to see the stang again. Keep up the good work! GOD Bless!
Thanks, you too!
Awesome job you two! She may not be much to look at now but when you get done what you have planned, it will be awesome!
Thank you Nancy.... She is not a looker... but hopefully one day... she will come back around..
Hey Rev, Good Seeing You & Your Father, Glad The Water’s Now Receded Back Down….
I am pleased with that as well... left to come back another day.
Rev, you’re putting spoilers at the beginning of videos! Instead of finding out if it runs at the very beginning of the video, we like the anticipation! Some of us even want to place bets lol.
Sly... that was from previous videos. Go back and watch them too.. This car was stuck in some trees.. she has come a long way.
@@RevStoration Ah, ok. Thanks for clearing that up. I must’ve accidentally skipped over a video. Keep up the good work! Btw, this is David, from Facebook.
My dad wanted to get a 64 1/2 Mustang when they were first released, but that was right about when my parental units found out my mom was pregnant with me. So it's my fault my Dad didn't get one of those Mustangs. 15 years later, we ended up with a 79 Mustang Pace Car, it was the only cool car my parents ever owned. My mom taught me how to drive a stick shift in it while we were test driving it.. lol
Cool car without a doubt.
I like how you guys keep pulling these cars out of the woods and get them going.
Thanks Nathan..
Finally some one that doesn't bad mouth Fords!!!!
Nope... I rather drive a Ford and work on a ford than anything..
Hey Rev. Your so much fun to watch your videos with these old cars. This Mustang is going to need some love. Fred Flintstone is like
Me old. Thank you for always serving God. And wanting to share the Gospel. This COVID deal has been tough on everything. Much less. People we have lost due to it. I lost a good friend and Pastor. That I thought would bury me. This past year. God Bless you and your family.
Right on! Nothing I would rather do than serve the true King... Thanks Terry.
Great video I love the content and the company god bless till the next one.
Thanks Deek... God Bless
I agree with Richard Hill David. God’s calling is first and everyone should respect that. I’m not going anywhere and I understand and that’s fine with me. Before you get a alternator I’d tighten the belt up a bit and see if it works. I always enjoyed the videos and looking forward to seeing the next video. May Y’all have a Blessed One Sir.
Thanks Eddie... we are going to continue making the content when we have time... God Bless brother.
First of all stay safe, then keep those videos coming! God Bless yall!
Thank you! Will do!
Great video. Yet more proof that a wrencher never has enough space. Just have to keep adding on.
Great point! We need space to work for sure.
It is great to see the Mustang again. Still have some parts for you if you want them. I am thinking about trying power tour next year as well.
Time gets filled quickly around here. I need to block some out and come get the stuff... It is needed without our rigs.
You guys need to do pressure wash on the falcon and mustang
Every car in the Ole Man fleet needs a good washing..
Hello Rev and Old man I ain't going nowhere. You All are Awesome.
Thanks Robert... Grateful that you and other hang out and wait... wish we had more time but it is what it is.
@@RevStoration I understand
Great video again! Definitely revival worthy!
Thanks again!
Enjoyed the video , under stand about not being around the old man after being around people that shows COVID-19 . We watch also. Take care Brother!!🙏🙏❤️🇺🇸
Trying to be as safe as possible.. .this stuff is nothing to play around with.
I love me a vintage mustang maybe because I owned a 67 but Im always interested to see one get some attention. And I m a ford lover. the little six cylinder will actually burn a little rubber if they are running good.
I believe we can tune this one up and make it turn its tires over. Thanks for watching...
Thanks to share.
My pleasure
Hi guys, i finally got that 57 fairlane home, its a wonderful car, im trying to get her to run but ive had issues with stuck valves
I know that you are grateful to have gotten it home... Sticky valves happen on these old rigs...
Been waiting a year, rev we wanna see this restoration continue!
Quick tip. When the alternator is charging the battery it puts strain on the belt as it's charging or when you turn head lights on or blower motor on. I would take a volt meter and see what the alternator is putting out? My guess is the battery is low and the alt is just trying to charge it with a loose belt
I think it is the brushes inside... the same thing happens to the brushes that you describe happens to the belt... the noise was from inside
@@RevStoration I've never came across that? Just bad bearings, sense wire blowing fuses and loose belts squealing with load. I'm sure that alt is very old anyhow and would last much longer with a rebuilt one installed
Just found this . I love it .called my dad told my dad about it.now he's wishing we weren't 200 miles apart
Amen... Thanks for watching...
First generation Mustangs are ALWAYS worth restoring. Sure, you can just buy a Dynacorn body and build a new one, but bringing one back from oblivion is so satisfying!
Hi men. Good job on Fred. She’s a running pretty good for an old girl sitting so kind. She is shaping up. Nice to see you again. Stay safe and see you soon. Big Al.
Thanks Big Al... This was a fun one.. Thanks for watching as always.
I love watching you two, you guys crack me up...2022 power tour? If you go, I'll go...
Thanks Brother... I need to get ready for it... especially if it hits the east coast.
Love the channel. Wish I could find projects like that.
Fun times turning the wrenches..
good stuff there ol'e rev...i'd like to see you guys put a buff and shine on that black 57 ford..wuddya say?,,,sounds like a good video
I think buff and shine on the 57 would be awesome...
Power Tour 2022 I hope to have PAM ready. My 66 Mustang. Maybe Fred and Pam can hang out together. That would be cool.
That would be awesome... Hope it is somewhere in between our locations.
Ready to find that Bronco for us to work on! 😁
You and me both chick.
Awesome video, just subscribed 👍 ...Reading PA
Thanks so much for watching and subbing.
Like to see, if any of the cars, that one two door galaxy 63 and black I think? If I had to pick faves... it'd be hard to do due to the choices made of what cars to set aside... Galaxies... I'd want to work on them all, same with the FAirlanes, the Falcon..... The F100's are all pretty cool as well. Your Dad owns 9 houses... do any of them have a garage with a lift in it? These cars are worth the investment. Now as far as this channel goes, many would like to see them fixed up [I know I'd like to see that with a couple]. They can't all be Patina [I do hate the "P" word for the most part]. Anyway... you have asked for comments in the past and that they help... well ya, I'd like to see the Falcon as a sleeper :-)) The Black Galaxy as a turbo rig maybe or with a 427 tribute to perhaps those backwoods runners back in the day :-))
I'd love to see that happen for each of the rigs. It is a wait and see game for us too! A little work as we go along and after a while we may all be surprised what happens. Thanks for watching!
@@RevStoration I hear ya. Just letting you know that I'm rooting for you and your Dad, Nickey and MOm... the family :-) There's something about watching an old car come alive with new appointments of everything from Engine refresh to carpets and trunks lol I'm a believer so I think it will happen this year to begin one or two of them. Hoping you can keep and restore those ones with family memory for you guys.
Awsome video!
I'm thinking of restyoring one myself!
Awesome
Hey I like that 66 mustang! Mine was about the same shape. Wish I still had it! But enjoy the channel.
