    Love the video Channa! I'm REALLY glad my home is a single story as I would have no desire lugging up Dual PB16's up a flight of stairs. Glad you are enjoying the PB4000. Now you see why I chose to purchase the Dual PB16's. They were a nice upgrade to my aging 4 Klipsch RSW-15's, they dig much deeper, have more authority below 30Hz and I love the SVS App. Keep up the great work my friend.

    my god, talk about a torture test !!! that was awsome and unreal my friend ! people dont realize how powerful and dynamic a synth like that can be when played live like that.
    there is literally no limit to the top end. ive never seen woofer move that fast and controlled, and stay in 1 piece ! lol,,, good work on all your videos pal, keep up the good work.
    and btw, ive owned my p4- 4000 for about 6 months now, and it gets better everytime i listen to it...it truely is bass so deep and clean, like ive never heard before.
    it will hit like somebody dropped a lead bowling ball in the floor one minute , then gently puff out some light mid bass strokes with finesse the next.
    dont see how bass could really get much better than what it produces..take care

    Awesome video dude, that was definitely some crazy excursion from the pb 4000. When you get around to it I'd like to know what's the output difference in terms of dB versus regular mode and sealed. I'm sure sealed is more than loud enough though, so I'm thinking that's the only mode most people might use to get the best of both worlds as far as output along with that super low bass extension.

I would like to ask you if by inserting one of these two models I can improve the bass sound more or given the high costs of the models described above, I only keep the soundbar? we are talking about € 2399 and € 2899. for this reason I ask you if by adding 1 subw I really gain from listening to both music and movies. Great vid as always man, couple of questions though, first off is there a particular reason you went with this decoupling mat instead of svs's soundpath isolation system, and second is there any tradeoff in using the extended mode, because if not, i don't see why include any of the two other modes, lower frequency response is always better right?

    • @Youthman
      @Youthman Před 5 lety +2

      Ahmed, with Extended mode, you lose some of the output in exchange for more depth. It allows for flexibility as to what your goals are for the subwoofer.

    Wow Channa....So Ironic, seeing you do this review. I've been researching for hours the last few weeks, and just bought 2 of the SB 4000's the other day. Supposed to arrive next Monday. Already having second thoughts watching Home theater dude's videos as well as yours. My house is an open floor plan with my TV room opening to the kitchen so I have about 4500 CF of open space, not to mention Travertine tile floors. I'm going to demo the SB 4000's though and give them a really good test before I make up my mind. Wish me luck!

      Hi!! Good luck with the demo of the SB4000s!! I'm sure you will love the bass. I have around 4000 CF of air as well. Living room, dining room, and opens up to a stairwell and kitchen.

      @@TechnoDad So, what do you think about the SB 4000's with our big rooms versus the PB 4000? I'm hoping I will get the base sound in my movies and music I really want. Concerned the Sealed woofers will get lost in the large space. I love the PB 4000's but just wish they were not so damn huge. Either way, I will be going with 2 subs. I wonder if the SB 16 ultras would also be a good idea? Have not even received the SB 4000's and i'm already ready to upgrade LOL

    They are good but the 4000 series got way to much problems with their amps, I'm on my second amp naw and it still cause problems, talked to Ed but I said that for now I can live with it, they produce good sound and output but for quality I prefer swedish Xtz for quality never ever had any problems with those.

    This demo won't effect the speakers of anyone watching even if we are listening through Genelecs. Your camera's ability to record those low frequencies from the Moog VCO's just isn't there.. But it is interesting to see the cone movement.

    • @TechnoDad
      @TechnoDad  Před 5 lety

      I recorded the audio from the Moog into my computer from the Moog's headphone jack. So you should be able to get all of it. I mixed in the mic sound to get the in room shaking. I think it came out quite well.
