Do not full agree, i watched several times Phantom of the Opera and Wishmaster great songs at last concert with Tarja, but its so depressing to see none of the boys showed not even for one second a smile. They just did their professional job without any pleasure, thats why i stopped watching that concert. .

@@mnewm21 i full understand the reason why they did not look happy that evening, its very human. But for me the magic of Nightwish is seeing them playing their fantastic music and the pleasure they seem to have on stage. As Tuomas always states, that great family feeling. WIth Tarja at the beginning and Floor nowadays (annette i don’t know, not seen that many live performances) it was not there imo that evening as i said before.

Leon is right. In the studio you get as many takes as you want and recorded albums are generally the best one, so many singers get away with presenting their best effort after several tries. However, Floor has immense vocal power live and absolutely nails the live performances. It's really a sight to behold.

I see you haven't seen her performances with her ReVamp a lot? There she's growling a lot. Also, in 'The Greatest Show On Earth' there are some ape/primate like growls. Those are also done by Floor. Together with Marco. And Troy actually. Such a sight.

The sheer presence of Floor and her vocal range has transformed the band to a whole new level.
You have to remember Floor is a Human Being, yet she never fails to deliver. That with musicians from a different planet, make Nightwish one of a handful of complete units.
Yes I am a huge fan and even more since Floors arrival. The band jumped into the Premier League
Pretty much what I thought when I first saw them live with Floor in Wacken 2013.
First show I saw from them was at a very small venue around '99 I think. Maybe 50 people in the crowd and Tarja was hanging out sitting on the stage edge and chatting with the audience after the gig. Not that much of a diva back then 😂 After that I was always waiting for them to get a metal singer and with Floor they finally got one 😊

indeed! But even then, the edits to Marco during the start of the growls are just mystifying. Also, the cut away from the little interplay between Floor & Emppu...why not just hold that shot for another 2 seconds. Man, what *I* could do with all the official footage lol.
This version has more audible growling in the mix but I still like the cruise ship version best. Floor's clean and slightly distorted singing parts are all top notch there. Mexico version has better atmosphere naturally.
Her live performances get better and better. Her control over her voice is just... incredible.
Now I need the whole concert in my life.

I am excited that the channel is almost at a million. I became a fan of Nightwish after Floor came on. Before then I only knew a couple of songs. She is the one that got me hook on this band.

I started listening between the Once and Dark Passion Play albums. Amaranth still might be my favorite song of theirs.

This is my favorite song of EFMB it has that rock attitude of question the values, that metal weight. That killer riff and of course, an espetacular harmonies between Floor and Marco.

There is a sexy medieval feminine presence in some of her stagecraft. She utterly commands the stage and audience.....the other two girls couldn't match that sadly.

Ohh...must be so hard for your all not to have toured with "HUMAN. :II: NATURE". For fans it is a terrible loss... I can´t imagine how it must feel to tribaldance with the skeletons to "Tribal" :-D. After a long pause of listening to new albums in the metalgenre, I re-discovered Nightwish - thanks to all the amazing CZcams reactions.

This is a barebones with no thrills massive song. The band is soooo solid. Floor just delivers everything from siren off note glides to death growls. This has everything.
