good for you, as someone who has done the same thing later in life I will say its worth the effort- going on my 16th year in my "new"career, you can't put a price on happiness!
Bravo!!👏👏 Way to go! I was a headhunter and recruiter for many years. I saw quite a few ppl have very positive results from going back to school to earn more money and have a less physical job. I wish you all of the best success in your new venture.
Makes sense I guess. PVC glues, or the purple primer rather, will melt extension cords. Absolutely NEVER bite nails!!! Especially since I repair the drain cleaning equipment!!!
Right. Too much one way and I feel phony. Too much the other and we’re too deep into my own head and it’s bizarre nonsense to just about anyone who isn’t me. I hope I can get to that bike in time.
Sunny in Erie, PA! It's overcast, about 60 degrees and will rain soon in North County San Diego, CA! Good for you - go to college. It's sad to see old guys literally busting their humps because they don't know how to do a non-physical job. You seem like an intelligent guy to me, so you should do well. I know you won't mess with drugs and alcohol anymore. Just make the vids that you like to make, and we will watch them even if they are about college. Of course, every cool collegiate should be socially responsible, and ride a bike to school! Enjoy learning new stuff!!!
Thanks so much! I appreciate your kindness a great deal!!! I hope you are safe from extreme weather that seems to be happening often in your part of the country.
Thanks a bunch. I’m slightly tempted to document the whole thing for other aging fools like myself who might need that little bit of help to make a positive change for themselves.
@EriebyCycle that's a great idea. Some may need the motivation or just extra info. Maybe combine school and bikes all in one. Spindat seemed to have changed his style too. Filming more than just bikes. I think the Vlog thing, the "Day In The Life Of" videos are making a comeback on many channels. I'm sure you'll figure out something to balance it all!
@@billywood9717 thanks pal! I appreciate your input a great deal. Maybe I can find a nice blend that will keep me happy, as well as find an audience that will find it useful. Happy first day of school!
Well, well, well, turns out you were one of those coastal elite $20,000 carbon fiber riders all this time. I hope you don't forget about us little people when you're hanging around in that ivory tower!! Seriously though, I didn't know the college was free for residents. Will have to check it out, see ya in class.
Hahahaha!!! Ivory tower with my free community college associates degree. I’m now trying to remember what the faux ivory used for guitar fretboard inlays was called. Tuition is free. There are still a few fees, but nothing excessive.
@@MattsBicycleAdventures-bv5xy July is the best time to be here! Reach out beforehand if you’d like to meet for a coffee or something. Also, there’s one of us who now resides in Germany that pops in here frequently.
Funny story... here I am trying to get in there and give it hell - and all of the course work isn't where it's supposed to be. Empty folders... I can't do anything on my first day of school. F-words.
Put a triple crankset with that DD3 and you could time travel! Good luck with your studies.
My head just exploded!

Thanks for your words of encouragement. I appreciate it, especially as you speak them from experience.
Congratulations on the new venture and I wish you the best of luck, fella.
Thanks John. I appreciate it. Should be interesting to see how it turns out.
That's awesome, good for you 👍❤ Always love your videos, but YOU come first.

@EriebyCycle Hell ya, the time and effort you put in will be worth it. Keep challenging yourself and keep growing!
Right on cuz - good for you ! ! ! ! !

water, soap, then clothes. Nice clean looking machines though. 3 rules of plumbing, water always flows down, pvc glues ez and never bite your nails.

Awesome! 🎉🎉🎉 congrats, Josh. I get it, on the mass appeal side. It’s a balance that’s hard to find.
Looking forward to seeing your build off bike too!

I hadn’t thought of that. Come to think of it, I can ride the buss for free now… and Erie busses have a bike rack on the front!

Wooooah wait what are you going to school for?
Associates of applied business. That coupled with 30 years experience in industrial maintenance ought to mean something to someone.
Study hard!

Make sure you get grants college is expensive
You must have missed the part where I said the community college has free tuition for city residents.
What do you want to be when you grow up?
