Great build. I‘m so happy to see all the old 26“ bikes come back to live either with gravel bars or uncle Ron’s orthopedic style. To build a bike you like😊
Love it. I adore the lugged Trek mountain bikes from the late 80s and early 90s. I did a similar "swept bar" treatment to my bright red '93 GT Karakoram, just with all black parts and Deore DX thumbies.
Nice work my dude! I've got an old lugged Trek hardtail, same era, hanging in the loft of my garage. I think I'll follow your lead on this one. Thanks for the inspiring build!
I find that when you mount a Handlebar bag like Ronsbikes or Swift Industries bag the cables will lay down easier and not bind up under the weight of the bag. That's what I notice works for me.
Bitchin build one of a kind ! Those old Treks RULE !! Dig the forks too ! Where is this ? Anywhere near Bronson Cycles like where the bag came from ? campbell ca.
I haven't heard of this brand in Germany - just like you probably haven't heard of the German brands "Möve" Kettler" or "Pegasus" "Hercules" or "Zündapp" xD@@kgilliagorilla2761
Gorgeous bike. Can't believe I stumbled upon this gem with all the junk on my home page.
The old lugged Treks kick ass. I have an early 80s 720 that I built up for touring. Nice setup.
Thank you
Better build than lots of peoples actual rivs
At 1/4 the cost😊
That's a sweet ride, love them Suntour shifters ✊
26 and triple, Im sold!
Great build. I‘m so happy to see all the old 26“ bikes come back to live either with gravel bars or uncle Ron’s orthopedic style.

I’m wanting to build a 950 this build is awesome
Maybe Rivendale bikes are rich man's vintage Treks...

Finally a build that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg

Sweet ride! Just needs a Rapid Rise derailleur to be Grant Grouchy.
Sweet, I was ready for 'click bait', but this bike is the opposite of that. Super Joe & a Lovely Bike!
Thanks
DAM that pink really pops
Nice build!! That paint job looks awesome! Beautiful fork too.
Really nice build and bike.
Love the build brother man!
Would fit right in on the Crumbworks 'gram builds 😊
Corr! Good for you. Classy.
Lever's are Weinmann or Altenburger's. Nice Bike. hello from Berlin Germany.

Beautiful
Great effort, looks the business.
Lookin very nice
Very very nice.
Nice bike 👍
I worked at a Trek & Schwinn dealer in the early 90’s. The Trek 900 series were very nice bikes. I couldn’t afford one so I admired them from afar 😊
Picked up a 950 2 years ago for $50 with 2004 marzocchi bomber and stx rc components
Nice! I looked it up and a Trek 950 was $640 in 1992. Converted to today’s money that’s like $1,400.
Solid frame made in Wisconsin @@Kenaroni
Very cool!
Nice bike, just seen it on the grams
So rad
Very intelligent build, what kind of steerer is that, 1" threadless?
This year is 1 1/8th
How didi it came original, 1 1/8 threaded?
👏
Phat ride!
nice
front rack seem popular now....is it better than rear rack, or its just a trend?
Why are your cables left so long?
Great paintjob.
I find that when you mount a Handlebar bag like Ronsbikes or Swift Industries bag the cables will lay down easier and not bind up under the weight of the bag. That's what I notice works for me.
@@hammeredscout Sorry, I meant the cable ends on the rear and front derailleur.
Approved
Hell yeah
dope
what the price ?

What fork is that? :)
Made by Waterford for disc brakes but welded on Canti post.
Rad.
Looks like mt baldy.
i never heard of "Rivendale"
A wise guy huh? I love the bike, but Rivendale is a town in Ohio I think.

trekindale is not a rivendell
No, it's better
So let’s get this straight , rivendale copy 80s bikes and you are doing a copy of a rivendale doing a copy and think it’s a poor man’s copy.
Got it .
