this is one of the best overviews i've seen of deep sea ROV exploration. fantastic job to everyone who had a hand in this!
i love the immediate framing of the deep sea as NOT alien - it's just a different environment than the one we inhabit, and the organisms that live in it have adapted accordingly.

The privilege is all ours! How fortunate we are to live in an age with such a wealth of resources, and the combined human ingenuity and know-how to maximize those resources.
