A few key takeaways from my visit:
- Approx. 7,000 homes sold and closed
- This year they’ve sold close to 500 new homes
- Community will ultimately be around 13,000 homes
- 23 floorplans to choose from starting in the $170k’s
- Only single-family homes available. They’ve tried offering attached villas in the past but the demand was just not there
- Only ~20% of residents are snowbirds
- Minimum rental is 6 months + 1 week, unlike other places (like The Villages) that allow short-term rentals. This cuts down on the amount of people in and out which is very nice for permanent residents
- 54 holes of golf (2 private courses, 1 semi-private), several recreation centers, and lots of other amenities
Building a new home in Weybourne Landing after owning in The Villages for the last 2 years. Hated TV- too crowded and congested with cars, golf carts and people. No security whatsoever- all roads are public. OTOTW is exactly the oppose of TV with all of the same and more amenities. So much more for our money with new, modern construction in OTOTW as opposed to overpaying for someone else’s junk in TV that needs a full gut job.

What is all the background noise? I stopped watching the video because of the background noise. We want to move to Florida and retire, we are looking at this site, but the background noise is overwhelming. Can you reshoot this video without all the background noise?
1. Love the format, hate the extra voices in the background during 5he intro, but hard to keep others out, or quite during business hours.
2. Wish you would have showed balance of 1st model: 2nd bedroom and 2nd bath. Base price on that model.
3. You where on model row, why not show them? With base price range?
Love the info, wish the video showed more models. Is Candler hills the predominant area, since they have a rec center to only them?
No lakes, ponds, wetlands
Two things I never hear or read, can I park a boat in the driveway and how much are the HOA fees....
How good is that NO man gated community in the back?
Please just do a virtual tour with voice over. We don't need to look at the person just the homes and surroundings
From what I understand the owners of the new area do not have access to the entire complex unless they pay a fee?

Small compared to the Villages.
Can a resident of otow, but not candler rent out the lodge banquet room let’s say for daughters wedding?
Why not have that person in back be quiet?
How far is the nearest VA Clinic. My husband is a Veteran and uses the Va??
CBOC the Villages. VAMC located in Gainesville
There is a brand new VA Clinic that opened in fall of 2021 and is located 10 minutes from On Top Of The World.
Background talking and noise very distracting
The sales center was open to other tours during my visit so you can hear other people talking the first couple of minutes. However, audio improves once we exit the sales center.
Way too much background noise!
What us price of 2bdr & association ?
There are several 2 bedroom floorplans and prices start in the $170k's. Community Service Fees range from $166/mo. to $362/mo. depending on which part of the community you decide to live in. You can request more detailed info here: www.floridaforboomers.com/ototw/
