I've heard for those who cant drive they offer daily shuttles, does the county or the developer have paratransit or medical transit?? or travel/day trip groups( if anyone reading knows)
OTOW does not have bonds on their homes like so many 55 Plus communities do. They have bus transportation they offer to residents to go to their doctors or shopping plus lots more benefits and gated security.
Speaking to visiting besides TV how many offer life style visits?
What daily activities do they have besides golf

Why does the HOA Fee's in OTW seem so High compared to Villages. Most For Sale homes I see the Hoa is $250-$350 a month
Yes extremely high.
OTOW is gated with security.
The maintenance side of Otow is higher as it does all the upkeep of the yard. This covers all amenities. There is no extra cost.
Can I ask a question about why people think that that is a high HOA amount? I live in the Northeast and I pay far more than that when it comes to yard maintenance like seeding fertilizer landscaper cutting my lawn and in the winter plowing or the cost of the snowblower. My cable and Internet are almost $300 a month. I don’t ask the question to be rude but are people who think that there is a high hoa mostly people who lived in apartments? I have to get someone to pressure wash my siding, fix my chimney, I won’t even mention roofing, but I will mention the guy who comes up on the ladder to clean out my gutters every fall so I reduce the chances of ice issues in my gutters. Every couple of years someone resealing my driveway. Tools I have had to buy for yard maintenance.Help me understand please what am I missing,
Manned security at all 4 gates.
Weekly mowing, edging and removal of yard waste. All tree and shrub trimming. Pressure washing and painting of your house every seven years. Trash and recycling and basic cable. Live music every Friday and Saturday night ( weather permitting) at the Square. All this is included in the HOA FEES. All maintenance of common areas. Multiple dog parks dodo bags and special waste receptacles are provided and maintained.
