We did a visit to this community in 2020, prices have went up dramatically since our visit. You definitely want to have some extra cash now. Our budget was 225 k, now you cannot buy there for that, but back in 2020 you could. We are finally retiring this year, (2024) going back down, probably going to buy at otow because we can still buy in our original budget. That all being said, we did like this community, really liked the tiki hut, food was excellent. Just to expensive now

This community is a stand out here in citrus county. None of the chaos like in “the villages”. I love it!

Beach is where??
This area is as close to the middle of the state as it gets so you can take your pick east coast vs west coast beaches. Closest is probably New Smyrna Beach on the east coast and somewhere along the Nature Coast to the west.

What is all the background noise? I stopped watching the video because of the background noise. We want to move to Florida and retire, we are looking at this site, but the background noise is overwhelming. Can you reshoot this video without all the background noise?

Seemed you avoided showing any homes on your drive. Mostly empty streets.
Hmmm, I saw quite a few homes in that video. Lakewood Ranch does a good job though of keeping the homes and neighborhoods tucked away from the main thoroughfares and that’s what made up a large portion of the tour so maybe that’s why it seemed like that. I'm hearing great things about Vero Beach, Destin & Dunedin. What are your thoughts? I'm in Southern California & not sure if I want to sell my house and make such a drastic change.
For me is mainly Westcoast sites. 1. Fort Myers 2. Punta Gorda 3. Venice 4. Naples 5. Bradenton 6. Sarasota
It’s very beautiful but I am looking for something less expensive only with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. It can be a walk up concept and something were I can have my pets!
it would be useful and helpful if you take your time and show these places on the map and speak normal and not just read of your script.

Avoid the Villages. The houses are cookie cutter and the lots are tiny.
How Hobe Sound FL is not on this list is beyond me. Beautiful quiet Beach town that is home to Jupiter Island.
Can’t afford to live that far south. Love the Stuart area in Martin County

Ugggg,just had a friend buy into this…why?! I couldn’t live on top of people and then have a HOA on top of that. Lived too long in the city just to retire to another one.
Yup only a matter of time before the HOA nonsense will start up. The first sign of someone who should not be allowed on an HOA board is someone who WANTS to be on the board. Control freak city.
Different strokes for different folks. If you want to sit alone in your house during your old age, you are free to do that. Maybe your friend wants to have fun and meet people? It doesn't make either of you wrong but don't downgrade others decisions just because it's not your thing.
I purchased the 2022 Florida Retirement Handbook and have read it and it has been very helpful with our thoughts prior to our final decision. Thank you!
