I Love my 23 TRD double cab 6’ bed, leather, sunroof, LED lights, JBL stereo system, etc.
Yes it hunts for gears so I’ll have an Overland Tailor Tuning system downloaded to stop this issue.
1. Congrats on your purchase, glad you're happy.
2. Good choice on the manual.
3. You're right about the paint, i just got a brand new Acura and the paint is the worst than the paint on any new vehicle I've owned.
4. PPF is good, but not great. It has its own issues, but the PPF cult members won't let me talk about that, or I'll be silenced.
(Did you see TheFastLane's recent video where they broke the 2024 tacoma? Good thing you got the V6)
Thanks for your comments and I did see the fast lands taco broke - didn't sound / look good. Never good to buy the first couple years of a new generation. Very happy I was able to get my truck
I had the same issues (paint and the fender peeling). Seems common with these Tacomas. The phone charger sucks too
I don't use the phone charger 😂 - I have to take my phone out of the case for the wireless charger to work, so I just plug it in if I need a charge. The frontier'e wireless charger works very well
Good choice on the manual trans. A tacoma should be in a manual imo
I had a '19 SR5 V6 auto. Motor was weasy and felt weak. Good on paper, but did not like it. Sold rthe truck because of it. Get the next gen.
Yeah but the Tundra is mid-sized truck of the year. What does that make the Tacoma?
Did you undercoat this truck?
Not yet, probably in the fall but I make sure to rinse all the winter grim off it
@@TheWessGarage prob already rusting. Best to do it when it’s brand new. I did it right off the lot
