  • Just briefly talking about my 9 year ownership experience with my 25 year old 4x4 Toyota Tacoma. I use this truck as my daily driver, camp out of it, haul with it and it's never left me stranded.

My 02 is my daily,@ 417k. Had it since 17k. I have that rattle too once in a while, will try the paper towel trick. New trucks are great but keeping a classic going is too. Roll on!

400K + is an accomplishment. I am right around 289K. Good to hear your ol' faithful is still getting you along!

I love first gen TRD Tacomas and think they are the best looking/handling Tacoma ever. Mine is going to get some upgrades at some point and will likely start a canopy interior build soon. Thanks for the sub! These trucks are legit!

Maybe companies will someday realize we still want simple, small compact pickups...

@@samueljlarson its very doubtful... the last single reg. cab Toyota was in the Gen2 2o15 ... some still want that small cab with 4wd but they will not make them!

@@samueljlarson that sucks. Why's the airbag light on? Was it in an accident?

No accidents. I'm not sure why that light is on... it does remind me to not hit anything though@@thebeddoctor4273

@@samueljlarson have you tried to stick the key into the killswitch thing on the dash by the center vents to possibly turn off the light? my '97 taco does not have this feature so IDK!
