This is the longplay of the Super Mario Kart game, released for Super Nintendo in 1992 in Japan and the United States and in 1993 in Europe. The game is racing with the characters of the Mario franchise, but it is not only a racing game, but a game that requires strategy, since there are coins to increase the speed of the Kart and also the items in the question boxes, which are items that serve to attack other runners. These items, if well used, can be the difference between victory and defeat and the position in which you are in the race items are better or worse (if you are in the last place the chance to drop excellent items such as Star or the Ray are much larger than being in the best position).
Not only are the characters from the Mario franchise, the scenarios as well, and they are quite varied. The video was made playing in Mario Kart GP mode in all difficulties (50cc Easy, 100cc Medium and 150cc Hard) and with all the characters.
Super Mario Kart is also credited as being the first non-platforming game to feature multiple playable characters from the Mario franchise. It's, without a doubt, one of the best games ever released and one of my favorites. Hope you like it. - Hry

The original game that started it all. Nostalgia. I play this, along with 64 and Double Dash, anyday way way over Mario Kart 8. But the first game here is really important, as it is also the first ever kart-racing game in general. Still own the original cartridge and beaten 150cc (Special Cup is a nightmare).

While the effect is a lot more obvious now through the eyes of somebody with a basic understanding of the technology, the careful selection of colours and outlines to create shadows and the illusion of depth is really damn impressive. Not many SNES games with Mode 7 managed to shake off the feeling of just being on a giant sheet of paper, but this game nails it.

While not first Mario Kart game, itd still my favorite. I play those tracks on Mario Kart Super Circuit on the gba and that helped me a lot when i beat this game. Thank you for the playthrough.

wow. when I had limited sight, I could never do very well at all. always came in last, but I would use the top down view on the bottom screen to at least get me around the track. enjoyed playing anyway. especially teh rainbow track with no sides at all.

Eu não consigo entender por que só 4 corredores pontua e os outros não
Para você avançar para a próxima corrida, você só pode chegar até, no máximo, 4º lugar. Se você chegar em 5º lugar ou pior é desclassificado, perde uma vida e tem que tentar a corrida de novo.
E para subir no pódio e ganhar troféu ao final do circuito precisa estar nas três primeiras colocações no ranking geral (se o jogador terminar em 4º, não recebe nenhum troféu)
