The Wii one always has a Special place in my heart
The Wii Rainbow Road and the 64 Rainbow Road will always have a special place in my soul.
Meet your biggest fan
Mmhm
Good
Crybaby’s Motel yea me too
I stand by the fact the physical track looks the coolest on the wii. I love how it’s semi transparent and you can see the stars through it
I prefer 7's looks more than the Wii version.
The star bits from Galaxy was a great touch, especially since Galaxy was a recent game at the time
Mario Kart wii was the best ever, Mario Kart 64 a close 2nd!
64, super circuit, some parts of ds, and some parts of 7 are also transparent. However I do absolutely love the colors and lighting on the wii rainbow road. It's so joyful.
czcams.com/video/_q2Zr3hi5Ao/video.html
I’ll never forget on the N64 version, if you jump off the side, you can land on another part of the track and be miles ahead of the other racers
I found a small skip on the special cup rainbow road. It will never compare to the n64, but... makes me proud that I found it on accident even if it's not original
Did that and it was awesome
My brother actually did that trick! Me, him, and my dad were playing some MK64. I will never forget the look of surprise dad had when my brother did the jump. Dad later asked us where we learned it and we just said "CZcams" and went, "Fair enough". Ah those were good days
This is why I can’t stand any other Mario kart. The N64 version allowed you the physical mechanics to leave the course or skip parts of the course. I have the Switch version and any time you hit air you turn into a glider and can’t do anything but stay on the course. Why not let the players go crazy and fly wherever they want? It’s because they catered to the young children who would inevitably be playing it.
@@davidswanson5669 I never played that version, but isn't that kind of cheating skipping parts of a course? You get docked for time or DQ'd in races for doing that usually.
The ds and wii version will always be the best and never forgotten
Nah og game cube
@@lafactory9729 nah, it’s always ds and wii.
We all have different opinions people

Yes
You realize that 7 lets you race on Saturn's rings right?
6:48 It’s funny that even the computer falls off the track on 150cc
Haha!
When I have my DS I also pick a heavy character and push the NPC off the track
@@RikuMcduck Really the best thing to do to them lol

The Rainbow Road in Mario Kart 64 was legendary and never to be forgotten
I grew up with this one
How it had rails
@@myMelodyj Same
I don’t see what’s so special about it lol. Y’all letting your nostalgia blind you with this game lol
Been playing Mario Kart since the original and I've always found N64's Rainbow Road to be massively disappointing, it's one of the worst tracks in that game. It looks great for its era but that's about all. It's a boring track with far too much dead space, not enough items, and guard rails that don't belong there. The course would be literally 3x as good if they just got rid of the guard rails.
MK8's update had to add so many extra elements and alter the course a TON in order to bring it up to date, way more than they had to do with the SNES track.
Mario Kart DS will always have a special place in my heart.

I was playing Mario kart 8 one time and I almost fell of the track when I was in first place. Actually I did, and my brother made fun of me for the rest of the time playing Mario kart. It was Warios stadium I think

Double dash and the 3ds version will forever be my favorite because of how nostalgic it is

Mario Kart DS will always have that special place in my heart. Easily thousands of hours put into that game and I don't regret a single one.
MK 7, DS, and Wii versions are the most legendary rainbow roads of all time
And gcn of course
and 64
7's Rainbow Road is especially fantastic
7のレインボーロードは特に素晴らしいです
no te olvides del 64 mi infancia👉❤️
My favorite is the DS because it was my first Mario kart game plus it introduces loops into the course, also I remember doing a glitch falling of it and flying into space
I find mariokart 7s rainbow road better, I mean you fly on the moon.
Niks Channel yes but it isn’t as nostalgic
Almost the same)
DS was the first mariokart I played not in deep childhood. But Wii is the fully first because my neighbour had it and I was going to him to play every day))
it's not that good
It is good though
Damn.... Mario was having the time of his life; especially on the wii one

wow i’m surprised some people are talking about the game cube ver. i love that one so much! literally the first mario kart i’ve ever played. that one is the most nostalgic for me
The Gamecube version was my first Mario Kart too! I played a lot of Mario games on Gamecube, thankfully I can still play them on the Wii
Double Dash on GameCube was top tier mario kart for sure
same 🥺 feeling so nostalgic for it tonight …
Fr, it was my first Mario kart game and i could never complete it without falling a million times but most of the nostalgia comes from watching my older brother play it
Double dash will forever hold a special place in my heart and it's unmatched because of how unique it is
The SNES one is perfect. No wonder it came back on many times after. I remember playing it when it came out. There was nothing like it. This music was great, the track itself was kind simple but made you stay on the edge because it was so easy to fall of. A masterpiece!
I remember the commercials for Super Mario Kart. "There's two speeds...fast and WAYYY TOO FAST."
Mario kart 64 is music is like music of rainbow ride
its literal trash
Snes one is boring

Game Cube: Happiness with velocity.

Switch: same thing of Wii U with a little bit of thanks for playing.
3ds is amazing
There's no difference between the Switch and WiiU version

"THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR PLAYING MY GAME"
I think SNES and DS are the best
I really love mario kart 7 rainbow road dunno why just love how 7 and 8 had their rainbow road either in actual space with planets and meteorites or a space station.
The SNES one and its recreation in Super Circuit? Those are a pain. The other rainbow roads are really hard, but much more mangable, other than 64's, which was a total joke.
WHOOPS! I replied to the wrong comment! Sorry about that!
i hate k 8 RR
I do like how 7 and 8 change the formula of RR. Instead of just a random track in space, there's actual life and atmosphere to it. I hope 9, whenever that comes out, continues this trend and goes crazy with the idea. Maybe a colony? or traversing a black hole or some crazy space shit like that.
@@Axel181 i hated mk 6's RR

11:01...It's really beautiful!
Rainbow Road 64 (original)'s the most visually appealing. It's certainly not the best RR racing track, but visually speaking I prefer the RRs with vertical stripes over those with horizontal stripes (I know horizontal gives more of a sense of riding the rainbow, but vertical just looks better), I like that the colors don't blend into each and also aren't blocky, and then there's of course that simple yet great background with neon images of the characters that really pop out in the darkness of space.
Bruh, ds is the only one with those loops lol
Not even 8 with anti gravity
@@envy-g2570 ikr it would of been cool if it atleast had like 2-3 loops
The N64 remake on the Switch is a loop as well
6:48 The sheer joy in Mario's voice when jumping super high on the coolest track in the game. Jumping high in a Mario Kart game is always fun! (Why haven't the half pipes returned?)
N64 will always be my favourite. Too many memories. The different sections being their own lap in 7 was an amazing idea that deserves a lot of credit though.
I like the Mario Kart 8 and 8 Deluxe version of SNES Rainbow Road Music.

Childhood with mario kart 64, perfect
I remember setting a record on the DS version. I beat that record held by one of the testers who put it in there. (Anybody remember those?)
Then I proceeded to beat my own record.
Both by about a second if that.
I have Mario Kart DS still to this day and I do remember the Staff Ghosts in Time Trials, and nice, the fastest I raced was about 2:19, and that was years ago.
Double dash and 7 are my favorites but 64 has the best theme
IMO double dash theme is better than 64. It’s just a redone version, and I think it sounds better
Every single one, majestic and it shows you'll never give in to a challenge.
Rainbow Road of N64 will always be my favourite. Some of the best times of my childhood was playing on Mario Kart 64 and defeating all who dared race me. SNES RR was also nice and very challenging for me. MK Double Dash is cool even though I never played it. Thanks to whomever posted this video.

What's Cool about Super Circuit is that in the Background, You can see Bowser's Castle from Paper Mario (From The 1st Paper Mario Game)
I do like the space station and disco theme of 8D, but they can never compare to the ethereal beauty of a lot of the older tracks.
after watching so many world record videos of the super circuit rainbow road, it's genuinely irritating to see someone not take advantage of the bumpers.
