What is ASMR?
ASMR stands for Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response. It's a non-scientific word that an everyday person came up with to describe the feeling characterized as a pleasurable tingling sensation felt in the head, scalp, back and other regions of the body in response to visual, auditory, tactile, olfactory, and/or cognitive stimuli, such as crinkling bags, hand movements, whispering, personal attention or watching someone perform a task. It's like goosebumps but much more pleasant and without the uncomfortable chills.
ASMR videos are meant to intentionally induce this sensation in the viewer, often referred to as "tingles", but the videos also serve to provide a relaxing, calming and soothing experience for the viewer. Many people who do not experience ASMR still enjoy the videos for their calming and sleepy effect. - Komedie

Guys I dont know much on this but Im fairly certain that Rift himself has declared that the professor collaborates with the SCP organization. As far as I know, though I cant recall where I saw/heard this, SCP is a part of the sanitarium lore's universe (as is the tin foil hat society).

I remember one year all we got for passing the questionnaire was a basic hat, a sheet of foil we could use to make customizations, and a foil wrapped cookie. The TFHS has really upped its incentive program.

Hey guys I just came here to ask what role did the Fugitive Slave Act have on increasing tensions between north and south states, and how did it represent a turning point pushing the country closer to the Civil War? Thanks!
In increased tensions because Northern states didn't want slavery and Southern states did. The act made it so that now local law enforcement and civilians were forcibly meant to go and "apprehend" any slave who escaped to the North and deliver them to their owner. The North wasn't very fond of that idea because it turned their land into a hunting ground and basically legalized kidnapping. Some Northern state's response was to pass laws to make the fugitive slave act virtually unenforceable, and the South wasn't very fond of that idea because it meant their escaped slaves wouldn't be returned. Clearly tension there. I wouldn't exactly call it a turning point because it was inevitable anyway, but it pushed the country closer to war simply because the North didn't want slavery and the South did. You can't have it both ways.

For God's sake, I've even abandoned my PhD study on Astrophysics and Cosmology at Cambridge University for a while hoping to become a TFHS member. Fingers crossed. Good look to everyone!!!
