I just picked up the. 1941 metal cutting bandsaw 880 and already have a 1939 890 wood cutting. I love your process for doing the restorations. And love the charcoal gray.
I have the exact same saw and went to remove the lower guide assembly to install the Iturra Designs bearing guides (@t and removed the two bolts that hold it down. The assembly (at 1.14 to 1.15 seconds in your video) still appears to be held down, but don't see any other bolts??? Not wanting to force it, any advice?
Hi, Do you know what model this is? I have one that is very similar (1/3hp) however I can't find a model ID. Where is the model identification information? It's evident you put some hours in here. Very useful as reference material. Video is nicely done! hicentered

Loved it thanks!
Great video! I just bought a nearly identical saw. It was very helpful to see the gearbox maintenance
Glad to discover your video. I was just given one of these saws and began the teardown this morning.
They are a blast to restor and use. The quality is amazing for the technology they had when they built them. Good luck with it.
Excellent! The Delta badge that is on the newly painted saw the original, or were you able to source one? It came out really nice if it the original.
Good shit 👏
What size blocks for the blade did you use?
