Thank you for posting this. It has helped me bring back to life a C302C that refused to power on. Basically, it needed a new replacement battery. So much more cost-effective to buy a new battery, and breathe more life into this more than capable Chromebook. £50 spent, and a good as new top-quality Chromebook (albeit a little dated - but still better than lots of cheaper models on the market today).

Where'd you find a replacement battery. Mine is going through the same problem.

Thanks for this really useful video, gave me all I needed to replace the broken screen on my c302 flip. The main back panel screws are a T5 Torx, if anyone needs to do the same.

You will notice that last motherboard screw that you removed is labeled "WP" somewhere near it. That is actually the Write Protect screw which one can remove to allow for writing custom firmware to this unit, allowing installation of Linux or Windows. Thanks for a great video!

Thank you! Fixed a problem with my wife's Chromebook not charging -- I just had to detach and reattach the internal battery connector.

Thank you very much for this video. My chromebook has a display problem where it goes grey for about 2 seconds and then normal display for another 2 seconds. I can still see the display a tiny bit on top of the screen even when it goes grey. I wonder if it's the display panel (e.g digitizer) or a component on the motherboard? I have power washed (makes no difference) and a separate external monitor works fine. Any ideas would be really appreciated.

Too clear, succinct, and easy to follow
You have no future in business.

It'd be great to know before having to watch the full video when you mention keyboard replacement - I can suggest adding times next to each of the dashpoints in the video description.
