Ultimately his son turned him in after his father attempted to R his girlfriend and so much more! The crime happened in Oregon City, Oregon early-mid 2000’s.

No cop would ever care about a "help" text. In the first 24 hours, adults can't be considered missing.

you can also request a welfare check on someone if you think they are at danger at any time according to google, but i think you would need to know the address to ask for.
Brittany felt uneasy about this guy she barely knows showing up to her house. She wasn’t sure how he got her address. Then he’s hounding her to to somewhere with him, by themselves. No. You guys always trust your instincts. It’s rare that they’re ever wrong.

If your friend texts you "help" after they just left with someone you had contact information to, call the police, ask for a welfare check and give the police the information you have. Do not just try and call them a bunch of times and expect them to survive.

100%, if a friend texts me 'help' I am calling them immediately, max 2 times. You don't pick up and I'm calling the police! It definitely seems like if they had taken that text seriously she could have been saved :(

Story suggestion: I'm not really sure how you'd approach this one, because there's still debate about what even happened there, but what about talking about Haut del la Garenne? It was an orphanage on the island of Jersey. Pretty wild stories came out of there. I read a book by one of the survivors, "Nobody Came." Sad sad stuff.

My husband knew this guy! He said at one point Luis was in charge of him…always gave him the creeps. Sometimes he would see the 2 women come in and drop food off for Luis, they’d even offer to bring food or invite some of the guys over to their house. Crazy!

I would love for you to tell Brandon Teena's story. It hits close to home for me, but just because I was born and raised in Nebraska and my sister lives in Lincoln 😂 I'm sure many people know his story or have seen the movie Boys Don't Cry. But you are such a great story teller and his story deserves to be told. Can't believe his and his friends' murderers are still on death row!

Bailey talking about how stories hit in such a weird way when you are close to it... YES. My husband and I live in Frederick, Co. Like a mile from Chris Watts house. I often think about how they went to the same grocery stores, places to eat, etc. IT IS CRAZY!
So the oil well where Chris Watts hid the bodies is the same site my husband had been previously working on, like a month before Chris did it

this was the case when i was summoned for jury duty for the first time. wasn’t picked, but it was crazy. saw the killers in person in the courthouse. really sad case
Agreed she had nothing to be jealous about even, she was not interested in him and she made it very clear she wouldn’t even hang out with him without his girls approval. They killed her for nothing….she was even moving away. I just don’t understand it.

@@cassiesayshi8174 if youre registered to vote you can get a summons in the mail, the jury are citizens who help decide if the accused are guilty or not guilty

As a female in the military, I will say it time and time again, military people are just as bad and even worse than civilians!!! I have a million horror stories I could tell. I’ll be glad to be away from that lifestyle next year. It’s been traumatizing to say the very least.
