It’s because the fashion, hair, etc from when they were teens/young adults is what they still like to wear to this day, so we associate the hair and clothes with elderly people, hence thinking they look far older than they are. Also makeup, hair extensions, diet and exercise, filters, Botox, filler, etc weren’t things back then. Another example are the women that still have the voluminous bangs because they were young in the 80s so they still think that style looks best on them because associate it with their youth.

Sure her subscribers are why she can make a living but it's her hard work that got her where was not us individually. I imagine she gets lots of comments with lots of requests, probably about the same cases, and to go through her comments for every video and write down anyone who mentioned it would be a lot of work and kind of pointless. I think just be happy that she is making the videos about stuff that interests you.

I tried to get into the Dark History series, but this (MMM) is my niche. I first heard of Bailey in my Ipsy Subscribers group. Then I received her eyeshadow palette in a Plus bag. Then I finally trekked over here to check out her broadcast. I haven't tried to mimic her makeup looks, but I like the eyeshadow primers Bailey uses. So at 65, I am still learning about makeup. :)

My daughter and I were at the river one night and she was like mom there's a body in the water. It was dark and there was a ton of grass and logs coming through where we had a ton of rain that week, I was like baby I don't see anything it's probably a log...I was so wrong the next morning it's in the news that a boater found a body there first thing that morning..she totally saw that poor man in the water and I didn't see him, he got pushed up in a shallow area at the boat ramp and that's where they found him.
Maybe it's for the best your daughter didn't get the trauma of actually finding out that night? Did you tell her afterwards?

The difference between the "true crime" shows on Netflix is 20% are facts and 80% is dramatically scripted acting. Sounds like you and I have both had a rough 2022. I wasn't aware you were gone because I've been gone too. Started out January with COVID. Hospitalized for 7 weeks and in rehab for another 3 weeks. Came home about 1 week after my wife was hospitalized with COVID. She was "only" in the hospital for three weeks. Over the next months I slowly recovered and am now totally recovered. My wife of 28 years never recovered and passed in September. I'm on autopilot and trying to deal with it all. I am going to get through it and come out the other side. I hope you are well and happy and dealing with everything in your own way. I love your site and you.

My friends stumbled on a body once. they were walking along the river near where we us to live during one of the uk lockdowns. Another walker stopped them and asked if what he saw in the river looked like a body to them.
They called the police and it was the body of a missing student from the local uni. He'd been missing about a week.
My friend was really shaken about it, I spent the rest of the night talking to her trying to comfort her.
Oooof, in the river? It must have looked so grim. Your poor friend.
