Hi Brandon how are you doing today? So I will be getting the QN800B TV in 75" do you know if that TV has the Glossy Black bars on top and bottom of the Screen when watching movies like the QN95C Has? Or does it have the more Dull black bars??
Hey Brandon, great video, thank you!!! still would like to see the comparison between the Sony A90J and the Sony A95K.. I have neither... I don't mind paying $4000 for the A95K if the difference in picture quality is significant over the A90J...but if it's not, or just a little better than I can get the A90J for $2800 at this moment .... but then again after this purchase I may not buy another TV for at least another 5 years,so that part of me just says get the A95K.... PC magazine review of the A95K, they feel the blacks on it aren't as black as an OLED should be because of the quantum dot?... Wonder if the blacks on the A90J are better than the A95K?

On the 8K models, can you use multi view with two HDMI inputs? I.e. can you have your PS5 going on one side and your Apple TV going on the other side?

Wow im actually impressed by the QN800B didnt expect to look so good against the A90J. Id rather have the QN800B than the QN90B since the 8K doesnt seem to have the LD bug. Hope you can do a 1vs1 between the QN90B and this 800B to check out blooming handling. Awesome video mate

I am choosing at this moment 75" between 800B and 90B since price on black friday is only 20% diference. . Have you noticed that 800B consumes 2 times more electricity than 90B in SDR ?
The dreaded rainbow effect was what forced me into swapping it out for a oled screen.
Yes, the oled is extremely reflective but that rainbow effect was something I just couldn’t get used to.
Same, hated the rainbow. I’d rather have localized reflections vs rainbow reflections across the screen. Part of the reason I returned my QN90A.

I am waking up on a Saturday morning to see this review of the Samsung QN800B 8K QLED TV. One of the things I like on this television, Samsung is going back to the center stand which I like. I hate when they start to make flat screen televisions with those little stands on each end of the television requiring you to purchase a special table. I recently purchased the Samsung S95B OLED 4K television. Both Sony and Samsung make the best televisions. However, I prefer the Samsung QN800B 8K QLED television oppose to the Sony.
Dont buy this out dated crap. You need Samsungs new QD OLED tvs. Qled just sucks in real life vs OLED and QD OLED>

Right now the 75" QN900B is about the same price as the 85" QN800B. Which of these would be recommended for a primary PC display with 100% scaling? It will be used for gaming and movies as well so it really needs to be an all rounder. Does only the 900b support 4k 144Hz? Does the picture quality of the 900b justify losing 10" compared to the 800b? Any thoughts?

I had mine mounted on the wall. But within 5 days it started hanging and in another couple of days went blank. No amount of reset was helping. I was refunded the cost by Samsung.
I suppose it heats up a bit and that’s what caused it to stop working.

While I was leaving the store with the s95b, the 800b stopped me in my tracks lol.. it never ends! Now I’m debating returning the s95b and maybe getting a 75” 800b in a month or two when the price drops again

B the installer now these or the tv size im accustom to you reviewing. I was at bestbuy yesterday and pick up the s95b for gaming. And i compared this model to the sony x95k 85 and pick the sony for my man cave my the x95k 85 is a killer. I'm a huge Samsung guy but that 85 sony was on next level.

I have the QN90A IN 85 for some reason its the best one of that qn in 85 not only for the size.. i have before the 75 and for a reason maybe brand panel the 75 have slme bugs lile in dark scenes the tv do a black muds. And its not my bad luck with a bad panel because i read a lot on avs. The 75 since i start using i need all days changing setting inmy new 85 didnt not looks more clean more vibrant and more colorfull. No whiteish picture like 75. I pirchase this 85 in a good deal on BB in 2299.. ohhh the 75 blooming more i dont know why. Subtitles was horrible. In this 85 its not the case

Yes 800C is the newer model, it has 1,5x more dimming zones so even better contrast and less blooming, also has updated OS and higher peak brightness.

Contrast always wins for me. The next most important for me is that you never ever can see any choppy movement. MUST be ultra fluid all the time.
The contrast on these top end qleds are near oled level. You can barely tell the difference.
Actually you need a dark viewing environment to see the difference

Depends on your living room/ viewing habits. If you have a realy bright living room, with direct light on screen and also watch a lot during time Neo Qled is the way to go. Oled is better imo picture quality wise but it performs the best without direct sunlight so if i you mostly watch in the evening Oled is the way to go!

Hard for me to recommend to anyone against the 77" OLED. The 2nd best 8k Samsung isn't my favorite this year. The size is great if huge wall and sitting far away but the oled is better

I guess the 800B is mostly the same as the 900B. The only real difference is the brightness and 144Hz capability of the 900B.. The 800B has the same processor and same zone count.
All in all depending on how much 'more' blooming there is on a QN90B, I bet that is the best overall option. It is brighter and far cheaper but still has excellent picture quality.
This is why I want a real head to head with a QN90B. Really need to see the bloom difference.
One connect box and infinity design automatically wins over the QN90B
