There are plenty of things Ruby Frankie has done that I can blame her for, but not talking to the police isn't one of them. Now if she was the talk what I feel bad know I really wish that dangerous horrible people would confess, but I don't blame them for not because why would they especially if they are a bad person.

Some of the comments let me know that some people don't understand that a lot of cops you'll notice you'll see extra horrible people get extra good treatment is because they don't want to risk that vicious person getting away for some stupid reason
It's actually one of the hardest things a good cop has to deal with, is not reacting on emotion
Also, not only is she smart to being silent, but her ability to not show emotion is scary. She's dangerously sociopathic
On one hand, you have a point (the guy who executed his three sons in front of his wife and daughter tried to get his charges dismissed entirely just because the cops verbalized their disgust of him). But on the other hand, there's a difference between neutrality and being overly friendly. In this particular case, I think the cops were just being neutral. But I have seen some cases where the cops are friendly toward the perp. The parents of the OF model accused of killing her boyfriend were treated like family friends by the cops who'd been sent to arrest them for evidence tampering, complete with 'sorry this is happening to you's and 'I hope it goes in your favor's. Neutrality? Good. Positivity or light-handedness? Hell to the naw.
