What a terrible father.
Not once did he ask about his children. He doesn’t even ask about the two older girls or the youngest after they told him about his son.
This is what gets me. I genuinely hope he isn’t able to get custody. He may not have been around during the incidents of abuse, but he was around during the family CZcams channel and not once did he ever disagree with anything Ruby would say or do.
Worse yet, if he actually cared about his kids then he would not have left without even slightly attempting to stay around. Had he fought to see his kids then maybe this entire incident could’ve been avoided, or at least be discovered much quicker than it was.

The way it's worded is based on manipulation. See, invitations are 'nice', therefore, Ruby is still being 'nice' when she's 'inviting' Kevin to not live in the house he pays for anymore. And if you complain about someone doing a 'nice' thing, that's a problem on YOUR end, not theirs. It's a way to exert emotional abuse alongside the religious abuse and financial abuse.
Now, Kev still ain't innocent in all this, but we can still acknowledge that Jodi and Ruby abused him. DCFS and everyone around him will need to watch him like a hawk for the kids' safety, but he does still need therapy- from a REAL therapist -and a bit of deconstruction to fully recover from what he went through.

I don’t even care about that. There’s plenty of families in the world where the wife “wore the pants”. But this man didn’t even try to stay near his kids. This is more than spineless. He’s a piece of garbage in his own right.

After watching Kevin say he trust Jodie and loves his wife and didn't believe what happened to his children I believe there is something more going on.
Something feels off here.
The way he talked about his older son shows he agrees with Ruby and Jodie.

I have a feeling there was an agreement that if he amicably agreed to let Jodi and Ruby live together and take care of the kids then he would be absolved of financial responsibility. Or if he agreed to their relationship then they would just separate and not file for divorce and being shame to the community. Idk something like that.
Nah, I was a it confused UNTIL he said "I was going to work every day fulfilling my role to care for family and be..." whatever it was he said... It clicked for me... I'd GUARANTEE Ruby had Kevin feeling just as bad about himself as she had the kids feeling about themselves. I'd bet his punishment was isolation from the family until he drove the devil out, in Ruby's language... He probably thought his way back in was just working every day, not indulge in pron, and show himself to her being a virtues man. I'd bet these two broads had many men feeling like this about themselves. We already know men have come forward and SAID Jodi broke up their marriage. Bc we also know once the "spell" was broken, Kevin filed for divorce... In my opinion, that's what happened. She broke him to the point he thought his punishment was being away from his and it was deserved. I actually feel bad for him. I hope he can build himself back from this and be a much stronger man for his kids.

I know you find the officer annoying but I think he’s genuinely pissed pff at Kevin’s apathy and lack of concern and also the fact that he claims he didn’t even ask about his children for 18 months
Yes, the officer was getting frustrated by Kevin’s monotone, vague responses and defense of Ruby, and he was trying to emphasize the horrific state of his kids to get any kind of emotion or appropriate reaction out of Kevin. He was probably thinking the same thing everyone else has, how could a father just up and leave his fam for a year with no contact and just give his kids up like that?
I noticed that the pranks chad would put/play on his siblings and stuff. It was the same type of stuff pranks, whatever that the parents, ruby would play on them..

The disney prank was similar to a prank the mom would or had done to the kids. Like the movie bs. Thats just 1 example. But when you do research and ya. You can tell that its something that is constantly being done to the kids by the parents.

Kevin doesn't seem like a strong minded man, I'd guarantee she controlled that whole family with an iron fist. And with that, his punishment for what he did was to be isolated from his family. I was watching another video this chnl uploaded (sorry, I'm new to the chnl & not sure of the chnl owners name) and she shows/reads some of an article that was later on in the time line & Kevin is saying Jodi basically moved into their home bc she had some crisis at hers, and next thing he knew she was going out on anniversary dinner dates with him & his wife, she was basically inserting herself in between their marriage... He said it was "hell" and next he knew he was moving out. I think this is what Jodi does, in her "therapy". Other men have said this exact thing. And they were accused of being addicted to porn just GLANCING at it in passing. She'd get these men to admit they'd seen it before, even in passing, but she'd convince them and the wife he was addicted... I think Jodi has something against people being married with kids, maybe bc she doesn't have that? I'd bet it's some deep seeded issue with her. She's a creep.

I’m glad I’m not the only one. In situations like this the public always blames everyone. But I don’t think he’s an awful guy. He screwed up for sure but he got played by those two psychos an he seems so in love w his wife. An he feels so guilty. I feel like he’s playing dumb. There is no way that he doesn’t know anything at all. Unless he was told to have no contact with the kids because of some incident. Otherwise why would he just let ruby tell him that he couldn’t even talk to them? He says he doesn’t even know how she behaves with the kids. Which makes zero sense. He doesn’t act like he even wanted to see or hear from them. Any father who is out of the home due to a separation would still fight to see his kids. He wouldn’t just lay down and have nothing to do with them.

He very frequently repeats questions back that he’s trying to frame in the best light to have more time to answer. It’s so transparent. They took everthing joyful away from Chad. He was playing soccer and they made him stop playing.
23:50 What Kevin means by this is that Chad played a relatively harmless prank on his brother. Chad got R very excited early in the morning by telling him they were going to Disney. We're talking a damage of, at most, a few tears and having to unpack a bag. And for *just* that, Chad got evicted from his bed. We're talking basic, normal, average kid-style prank. Seven months without a bed for just being a sibling. And Kevin condoned the punishment. Ruby and Kevin see normal kid behavior as wholly unacceptable and deserving of draconian punishment. DCFS will be breathing down Kevin's neck until E finally moves out on her own.

I’m in Australia and I googled both names and the freaking book came up in Amazon US! It’s called Rings of Responsibility: Learning self-governance through principles of Truth. Im not going to write the blurb because it’s half the freaking book it’s four paragraphs long! Something about the fear of not being enough and not knowing how to love me etc which now I’ve heard that Jodi is Satans wife and stick’s herself with forks makes me wonder. Jodi, Satan loves you. You’re his wife and he has a pitchfork. You don’t need to use forks. 😂😂😂 There is only one edition of this book left and two people have left a one star review questioning anyone who would listen to these people. Even better it’s only 145 pages long! I don’t even consider that a real book unless it’s a children’s book. That’s a what a magazine. A booklet? A short story. But not really a book. A book is 300 pages.
The second interview with Kevin sheds a lot of light on how much he knew. He still let Jodi ask him to leave his own home and his kids. He did not trust her at all and yet he told the police it did at first. He said he knew nothing in this interview but he knew what the women were doing and planning before he left. Also, religion is not an excuse for any of these people. Believing in God and truly following him is not anything like what these people were doing. God does not want anyone to be abused or abuse children. He doesn’t condone any of what they all have done. They will all have justice in this life or when they meet God for real. They have no excuses. I do think Jodi had something hanging around her though. Something that helped her do what she did and still think it’s okay even now. Ruby as well. They’re both not mentally stable at all. Kevin also needs to take accountability for not protecting his kids like he should have. Hopefully they all will actually have a clear mind at some point and truly repent for what they’ve done.
I would’ve walked in there out of my mind and I would’ve told them I will tell you EVERYTHING after you tell me what’s going on with my reason basically for existing in this world. I couldn’t sit there calm like that. I would have a major panic attack and probably would have to be rushed to the hospital.
On the topic of Kevin’s “porn” addiction, what we call porn and what they call porn is from one extreme to the other. To us regular folks you watch porn on like pornhub, but to them it could just be a picture of a woman in a bikini. That’s porn to them.
Kevin should NEVER get custody of the children because he will not keep them away from Ruby. All they have to do is show videos of the 8 passenger of Kevin being ok with all of this. After they told him what was done to the kids he said “I love my wife”. Just that, keep this idiot away from any children.
