the obvious disappointment....
If the aliens ever land, I vote we send Matteo to represent the human race. He’s a gem, and he probably already speaks the language ❤

This guy could EASILY HOST THE OSCARS. Wow, what an amazing comedian and i love how effortlessly he engages with the crowd. You could literally just watch him talk to people all day and not be bored.
I would LOVE to see him as a host. But I’m not sure how many American’s are ready for an Italian/Spanish homosexual who can also speak French and does drag host the academy awards 😂
I’d love to see it though. I’m so glad I finally stumbled across him. ❤
As long as he keep Will Smith's wife's name out his fu**ing mouth 😂😂😂😂
They need to start doing this, getting people who are charismatic but lesser known to do it. Moribund enterprise otherwise
Especially in Italian or French

@@keysmash_roaI am always flabbergasted when a German casts a joke - this one just caught me off guard 😅
Absolutely 😅 Germans need a clear concept and a precise strategy for basically ANYthing. I'm being perceived as awfully rude for being 10 to 15 minutes late so often (I'm from Germany, but have Polish roots). Everybody REALLY thinks that I plan this upfront, that I am doing it on purpose in order to hurt and disrespect them or being manipulative (!). I'm just more disorganized in contrast to most Germans, DAMMIT!! 😂😂😂
Hahaha! You should see Germans living in Colombia.
They learn to talk with strangers on the line at the supermarket, to kiss everyone hello even if they've just met them, to go to a country house to do NOTHING over the weekend, to get to places 5 minutes late and know they'll have to wait. It's a rough adjustment, but they get to a compromise after 7 years.😂
I can’t get enough of the German date. I’m still laughing.
The little "haha" sends me. It's such a stupid and stereotypical joke really but it makes me laugh so much.
This guy is intelligent AND funny. What a gift for languages! That whole thing was just a breath of fresh air!
Its not a Gift ,in Europe you can speak at least 3 lenguages
Not intelligent enough to get the basic spelling correct on his video's thumbnail.
To be funny you have to be intelligent first so it doesn't surprise me
No he’s not
@@artiaslari5594 he's from the US
the "he has risen" line did NOT get enough laughs
Agreed!
I almost choked laughing if that matters
And the “whatever you wear a dress” 😂
In Dutch, your crotch is called your kruis. It means cross, because of the seams in your trousers making a cross.
So, cross and crotch are both called kruis.
One day, a teacher in our classroom had received a Jesus-necklace in the mail from some Evangelic-promoting-peeps that wanted to give everyone a rosearynecklace and she wore it.
But she was a bigbellied and bigbreasted woman and Jesus kept falling in between her breasts and sinking lower, until fully swallowed by them.
So, she asked the neighbour if she could have her roseary and brought it to school the next day, putting them together and making a long, very long necklace that fit over her breasts and hung a bit below her bellybutton.
Another teacher helped her with some extra clips, thereby making it even longer and at some point, when she tried showing it off (and noticed it was too long) the other teacher asked what was hanging from the necklace.
"Jesus hanging on the cross", she answered. The other teacher replied; 'He's hanging on the cross alright...' and pointed at Jesus dangling right in front of her ladyparts.
The teacher exclaimed; 'Oh no, it was the tits yesterday and now Jesus on the cross!' and they both got such a giggling attack that it didn't stop for half an hour.
I don't know why they were teachers, because we learned jackshit from those two, but I think of the story whenever I see a roseary-necklace.
Amen!
Did the line "he is risen" go over the audience's head. That was hilarious. I love me some Matteo. This was absolutely a master piece. Well done lad 👏👌.
In other sets, that punchline is subtly accompanied by his hand over his fly, and rising at the wrist. I think that helps some audiences along, though you and I got it immediately. 😉
It is a very good punchline.
I'm sure people everyone got it, it's just not that funny.
I thought the same thing!!! 😂

I live 5 minutes away from Amsterdam, that might be the reason, but OH are they rude and paranoid about us, yelling that they think our houses will collapse on them or that the water is poison without chlorine. Not to mention, the ones that want me to thank them for 'saving them' and then they get upset when I point out that was Canada (thankyou Canada!)
If any American are reading this; Send your friendly ones! I bet they exist and I want to meet one.
The Germans I've met so far were very friendly btw. Birckenstocks, TheNorthFace-jackets, bicycle-helmets and slightly marching during walking. I love it when a German tourist has practiced their 'dankjewel' even if it sounds like 'Dankawell.' Liebe Grüße von die KäseNachbarn!

Mais non! Pourquoi tu dis ça?😉
Regarding fettuccine Alfredo, it WAS invented in Italy at a restaurant in Rome, but it's still very much not a thing in the country and has since become an American thing. Modern fettuccine Alfredo was invented by Alfredo Di Lelio. In 1892, Alfredo Di Lelio began to work in a restaurant that was located in Piazza Rosa and run by his mother Angelina. Di Lelio invented "fettuccine al triplo burro" (later named "fettuccine all'Alfredo" or "fettuccine Alfredo") in 1907 or 1908 in an effort to entice his wife, Ines, to eat after giving birth to their first child Armando. Alfredo added extra butter or "triplo burro" to the fettuccine when mixing it together for her.
Piazza Rosa disappeared in 1910 following the construction of the Galleria Colonna/Sordi, and the restaurant was forced to close. Di Lelio later opened his own restaurant, Alfredo alla Scrofa (which still exists today), then called "Alfredo", in 1914 on the via della Scrofa in central Rome. The dish gained popularity in the US when two American actors (Douglas Fairbanks and Mary Pickford) visited the restaurant while on their honeymoon in 1920.
Yes, I saw some sort of documentary about this years ago.
Yes, Matteo visited Alfredo alla Scrofa in Roma over a year ago and posted it. His remaining complaint is that after Hollywood stars brought it to the USA, American versions went awry.
Rome is not representative of the whole country, is all I'm gonna say to that. The guy from Milano probably didn't eat it at home
As an Italian-British with a French boyfriend, I loved this segment. Yes, my boyfriend and I speak mostly English and yes I'm the one learning French, his language 😂

I've yet to see Matteo perform his set. In both videos I've seen of him, he's always "just" interacting with the crowd and it's totally great! I feel like Matteo is the kind that really works better with a smaller audience. It wouldn't work as well with like 200 people in attendance, having a conversation with a couple people in front.

Have you ever seen Taylor Tomlinson perform? She shares the same sort of comedic brilliance for crowd work that Matteo does, and she had a Netflix special.

Matteo doesn't need a set. This is super entertaining and engaging as is.
I love your charm and even when you say something about "Italians" or "Germans" it is never insulting.
Matteo? Your assessment of the german people is 100% on point. Sometimes i wake up at night, and wander onto the Autobahn, only to measure if the spaces between the white guidelines are consistant in lengh or not. My clock adjusts its own time according to my poop schedule. We invented the checkered quad paper, but quickly abandoned it again, because it was too chaotic for us. Our foreplay is an half hour of terms of service pages read out loud.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I'm a Colombian who attended a German school. I can identify with the Autobahn measurements and the poop schedule.
I've also straightened paintings at my ENT Doctor's office. My French partner used to call me "Monkey" after Monk the TV series. I must admit I looked at him surprised... you mean it shows? All my classmates are the same. We're strange half breeds who can party like Latins and be spontaneous, but don't mess with our work output with a text during office hours.
Kudos for speaking other languages! Knowing about the cultures of other countries gives you the advantage of throwing shade where it hurts and they appreciate it. It says a lot when people from other countries come to see you. You managed to unify this crowd through knowing other languages and found a way to make it work. You ARE cultured by opening up and giving other languages a chance. "A different language is a different vision of life”, as fellow Italian Federico Fellini once said. As for hottest languages, Spanish is definitely up there. It is related to Italian and French after all. Find the right Spanish-speaking person with the right accent and it's all over.
