      Great suggestion. Maybe with leather/rawhide knee pads ? The knees in a canvas pant might wear too quickly but leather would be helpful.

    Does it fit nicely over the Loden Wool?

    I thought your were based in the USA. It's the only reason I have been hesitant to order an Anorak from you, because finished textiles sometimes have crazy fees coming into Canada. I feel kind of silly right now. What is your approximate turn-around time on orders? I'd like to buy one for next winter.

      Hi John as I said in the vid we are pretty fast we already shipped out a couple and will be putting more on the floor to keep up with the demand. As we speak; if you place an order today we will start the process by next Monday and have it completed within the same week how ever I must tell you that we are receiving many requests at this time and might have to bump up the wait to 10 days. We also have a couple of 2 X's left on the floor ready to go, on a 1st come 1st serve basis.

    Looks like I'm gonna have to get one to go with my boreal anorak. If I wanted to dye it could I just mix the dye in some water and brush it on, let it dry and reapply if needed to make it darker. Or would it be safer to just rub some dark soil all over it to dye naturally.

    • @BorealBushcraftCanada
      @BorealBushcraftCanada  Před 7 lety

      I've never tried any of those applications. I know some or at least one of our members has dyed there Arctic model and the turn out was good. Personally I say to leave it as it is and with time it's wear will give it character, if you absolutely want to experiment with it I could ship your rak without the fur ruff installed then after your process you could have it sewn on by a seamstress.

    Is this a canvas outer shell that you could wear over your wool Anorak? Or is it lined?

  • @miketurner2945

    I'm only asking since in winter time all the foliage around me will be gray, brown, tan, and dark green
