  • In this video I answer some questions about sizing, the difference between the Rough and the 90% wool rak. I also demonstrate how to put on and take off the garment, the layers Im comfortable in at -20 celsius. The optional kangaroo pocket is also discussed along with our usual turn around times. As of May 2017 we upgraded the fabric of the Rough© model to advanced performance 95% wool, exclusively developed and milled for BMA.

    Got my order in today. Had a problem getting the order to go through, my financial institution flagged the order because I live in Florida ordering wool from Quebec in the summer, they thought someone had stolen my credit card....got that ironed out and the order is in. This guy Andy sets the standard for customer service.

    I’m here in the uk and my friend came to Canada to visit family and he asked me if there was anything I’d like I said yes one of your anoraks which I now have. He did two more visits to for fishing holidays and got me another anorak and a wool blanket. I’ve owned them 4/5 years now and they are fabulous and the comments I receive are amazing that much so if I’d have been given a pound for every time I could of bought loads keep up good work there ace products that do the job thanks Ian Uk

    Would I ever love to get one of these someday! Better start saving up I guess. Looks cozy. I bet it takes just as long to get here to Yellowknife by regular mail as it does to Germany! Take care.

      Hello my friend, thanks for watching and stay tuned we do GAW's during the course of the year, ETA would probably run around the same time our parcels take to arrive in the remote Yukon 10 days. ATB

    I have a "wool army blanket" poncho that is essentially 2 blankets sewn together. It has a sewn on 3 piece hood. The side seams have 3 toggle buttons to form arm holes. I had some really heavyweight military surplus wool blankets and decided to make a unique winter garment that could completely cover my body in an emergency such as a sudden lake effect blizzard. I like in the snow belt south of Lake Ontario.

      Boreal Bushcraft Canada You have really cool looking anoraks. I think it will be worth saving up to buy one. I really like the details of your blankets too. At 6'1" 220 it looks like I will need a 2xl. Peace!

    Thanks for making a great product. If you can maybe do a video on the people making fakes. I just seen a fake for $79 on the Internet that looks almost the same and is trying to say that their shirt is your shirt. The one that they’re selling is not even made out of wool

    Is the material thicker than a regular wool blanket?

    • @BorealBushcraftCanada
      @BorealBushcraftCanada  Před 5 lety

      depends what blanket your referring to, we use 650gsm tightly woven 95% advanced performance wool milled exclusively for the Blackrak© & Rough© . The 90% anorak is made from a European style army blanket. The Loden is also 650gsm but we use 100% pure virgin wool milled exclusively for us. ATB

    I would love to grab one of these but I would like to know first if this is a wolf friendly product. Or is it a wall of pain from a wolf friendly Factory. Meaning that the animals are beaten abused Etc, thank you

  • @gmuk101
    @gmuk101 Před 4 lety +3

    It is itchy. Just itchy like a regular wool. Not even close to merino wool. Even though merino wool is not completely itchy-free. I expected this to be as soft as merino wool at least because that is what these reviews says. Also I wrote my review on their website yesterday and now it is gone. I think the owner delete negative reviews or their website shows positive reviews only, automatically. Now I understand why there is no negative reviews here and there. Stay away from their wool garment if you are looking for non-itchy clothing.
