    I just made this poncho and it came out perfectly. I used your instructions regarding the measurement. I am a 2x and the poncho fit and worked up VERY quickly.

      Can you tell me, for the one your wearing, the small piece...how many did you chain? And how many rows?
      And same for large piece.. Chain? Rows?
      Im having a hard time Lol. Im pretty new at this.

      Hi Lenysea. Thank you for sharing the beautiful poncho. I think you are graceful and generous in sharing your creations with us. I, do have a problem with measurements as I am not very clever in measuring. Could you please help me. I am aM Size and I will be grateful if you give the no of stitches needed. I understand the neck size. It’s the rectangle piece that I am puzzled about. The amount of rows and stitches .I will be grateful for the help and I so want to start this project.

    I love the way this poncho looks. It is a bit difficult to figure out the chain count. I eventually did (50 for an L/XL) but the multiple count did not match what the tutorial showed. You chained 18 and when you did the first row, you had 3 chains remaining. When I calculated my size and how many chains I would need and when I went by your 6 + 3 chain rule, I did not end up with 3 chains left. I had to give it more chains. So that should be stated in the video because if this is really going by size and not so much chaining then the multiple count also needs to change.

    Hi l get my front panel to be 14 inch across front and 20 inches length

      If your arm length is 17" double that =34" then add the 14" for the neck = 48"

    I am new to your channel and I just love how easy you make things look. However, I am a larger woman (2X to 3X) and I like things to fit a little more lose so how much yarn should I buy?

      Trisha Luke If I used one skein for sz M, you would need 2. Or just get 3 skeins but keep the receipt and if you won’t need the 3rd skein, just return it or exchange it...

      I can't give the exact amount of chains, because it would be different for different sizes and body types. Just use the multiples to reach your desired length and width.

    At around 18 minutes she CLEARLY explains how it is done.
