Christiana, I wouldn’t complain if I were you, but you’re not disabled. Since I was never on maternity leave, I worked my butt off for many years. I can’t have children cause I finished menopause. I don’t like special woman. And I am sure that you have the nerve to call a woman with a psychiatric disability a retard. So I don’t know how to treat hateful pregnant women cause I just dealt with one. I am stressed out with my life. I own what I own. I am not a gold digger. I am a woman of my one who has taken responsibility of her body. I am so sorry that you needed to do the butt.

I’ve made 2 of these ponchos using the yarn she used, in green and blue - I never ordered the pink that she’s using, because Walmart started selling it! It’s like $4 per skein, called “Lion Brand Coboo” and it’s seriously gorgeous, very easy to work with. I bought some of the pink at Walmart and made it into a tunic top, but you’re right - it would make an amazing wrap!

I just finished the 2 panels, joined them and the poncho is as big as a twin sized bed. I don't know what I did wrong because the panels are just beautiful. Each finished panel turned out to be 24" wide and 50 " long. They are huge. I am very discouraged because I put so much time into this. I guess I will rip it all out and reduce the number of stitches to get panels that are 15" by 30". I was really looking forward to wearing this for the weekend.

Gloria Lopez are you referring to the first chain 3 to start the DC row?

I've got 4 skeins of the yarn you used for this pattern in Snapdragon (green) and 4 skeins in Hyacinth (blue) coming in tomorrow! This looks like a super simple patter and it's so pretty! Thank you so much for the clear instructions!

What was the name of yarn?

So. Around the 7:45 mark just after the first "lace row" she says make sure you don't DC into the "turning chain" - I've found it's impossible (mathematically) to keep a consistent count on the DC rows (66 stitches) unless I DO DC into that turning chain at the end of the "lace row." . I'm on row 8 now and it's looking straight, consistently 66 stitches on my DC rows (65 stitches on my "lace rows".
So weird, it really doesn't look like she's stitching into that turning chain in the beginning, but at the end when she's showing us how to stitch it all together you can tell that she has. I frogged 3 rows 3 times before I decided to go ahead and DC into that turning chain at the end of every "lace row."

I noticed this on my 2nd lace row.. Something was wrong.. You have to DC in the turning chain at the end of every lace row for this to work.

You are making the medium right? if someone is making the small they should have 62 stitches right? i am confused bc my thing keeps growing and getting more stitches, and i dont know why. it's my first time following a pattern.

I am here in the comments for the same reason. I did a few rows without dc in the turning chain and it wasn't working. After taking it out three times and restarting, I will try dc in turning chain and hope it turns out correct. Thanks for these helpful comments.
