Found this so late but right on time. Had you not explained this, from other patterns given I would've never be able to do this, thanks so much for your time and an awesome video, your teaching is better than I have seen online. Again thanks❤️
You are such a good teacher. You go slow and you are easy to follow. I wish others were slow because I am old and need to think about it for a minute. LOL
I am so happy that you liked my video! Thank you for watching and commenting.
Well done! Your video is great. I love how you show the work after each row as that allows me to "see" the idea. Thank you
Love your tutorial! I thought it was hard to do by looking at the finished piece, so I never tried it. This looks so easy.
This is the easiest explanation of the virus stitch I've come across. Thank you for making it so simple!
Does she give instructions on how to make it larger?
@vanessabrown4462 jonnamartinezcrochet.etsy.com/listing/454149304
Absolutely gorgeous! It's on my to-do list!! thank you for sharing.
+curlycords thank you for watching and commenting.
I just finished this and it turned out really well! Fits perfectly. Love that you can add on and make it as long as you want.
Wonderful! Thank you for watching and commenting.
I love how you explain ahead, so you can get a feel for what comes next. I am going to try it, thank you 😁
I am on my last row of this poncho and I love it!!!! I used hobbi cotton king twirls and it looks amazing with your pattern. Thank you so much for posting this tutorial, it's fantastic ❤️👏👏👏
this looks beautiful. And with you doing it not too fast but nice and smooth makes it look doable and so far sounds understandable as you are speaking and doing it before us and 'With Us' so , thanks
+missbridjety I'm really happy to hear you liked the video!
Thank you for watching and commenting 🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸
Why would someone give a thumbs down....this Poncho is beautiful. I am.going to try and make this. I love this...I am watching this as I send this text.
I bought your pattern but I struggle with reading them. I very much appreciate you making this video. It’s also helping to learn to read patterns. I’m enjoying making this poncho.
It's so Beautiful Jonna! I couldn't understand or retain the Virus Shawl written pattern that well, but watching your video has made me see how to do it so very clear! Thank you so much for sharing your talent with us! I Appreciate it!
+ren021455 thank you so much!
Love this pattern. I have used this yarn and it is beautiful. To work with it is very smooth yarn easy to crotchet with
+Sally Allen yes! I love this yarn too. I want to try this in other colors but need to find more crochet time! 😊💕 thank you for watching and commenting 🌸🌸🌸🌸
I’m making this one now for my granddaughter for Christmas! Your instructions are so clear and you show us exactly how to do each row. I’m using Lion Brand TruBoo…100% rayon from bamboo and it is so slippery!! lol The pattern is easy-it’s the yarn I’m having trouble with! But it is so beautiful, I have to keep going!! Thank you for teaching us so well and for all your beautiful patterns!! ❤️❤️
I love all of your tutorials. Your voice is sweet, even and clear. I love how you lay out the project, and show us where we are going. That is very helpful for me. I have made a few of your previous projects and can’t wait to buy yarn like this so I can start this poncho. You are an excellent teacher!
I’m so happy you like my tutorials! Thank you for watching and commenting!
Have fun making your poncho when you get your yarn. 💞
Jonna....I just finished Virus Poncho....your tutorial and instructions are very clear to understand...I like the way you show your work as you're crocheting a long...I enjoyed it very much...I hope you'll do more tutorial...thank you so much...!!
+Pranati S I'm so happy to hear this! Thank you for watching and commenting
I know she took her time to show what she was doing. I am going to take my time, and write down the rows that are repeated so I dont lose track.
Great work to all who have completed their Poncho.
Pretty awesome video. Your explanation is thorough ! thanks for sharing. I intend to try it
+Pinks Brown that's great! Thank you for watching and commenting. I think you'll love your poncho!
Love this pattern. I have been looking for a nice poncho pattern and this one is very classy. I made one adjustment, adding in a popcorn stitch in the gap between the shells in round 4 just to challenge myself to do something interesting, and really like the results .
Very easy to follow with clear instructions. Thank you very much.
Jonna, I love your tutorials. I have used this one (2 Point Poncho) which goes extremely fast. I have been up all night working on this. The first 3 hrs were a mix of miss-counting, undoing, redoing until I got it right, by then I was well on my way to make my first poncho. I used your 2C2 and Virus Blanket tutorials as well. They are well explained and repetition is the name of the game for me. You go slow enough and the camera work is so clear, I can see the stitches very well. I agree with Judith Chemotti, you are an excellent teacher. Thank you for taking the time to pass on your knowledge to us fellow "Hookers". Have a great day!!! P.S. I made sure I subscribed to your channel and always drop your name on the F/B crochet group when they ask about tutorial and how to's. Great job!!
+Renee Neldon I am so happy that you enjoy this pattern and video! Thank you for watching commenting and sharing with your friends I truly appreciate it!

Joanna I started this tonight and can't put it down.I'm making it for my granddaughter she is nursing her baby and this will be a perfect cover for her and still keep her warm and looking good. I am using Caron cake in Bumbleberry. Thank you for t be easy to follow video.your and excellent teacher.
+Judith Chemotti that is wonderful!! Thank you for watching and commenting 💕🌸🌸🌸
How many caron cakes did you end up using?
Very well-done video! So impressed! Thank you!
Thank you so so much!!!
💖🌸🌸💖
I made two ponchos for myself using this pattern and it is my most favourite poncho pattern! Now I am making one for my niece who is turning 4. I bought your pattern off of Etsy so I can now make this poncho in any size! For my niece I am using 3 colours - lilac, a pretty spring green, and a peachy-pink colour, and I'm using a 3 weight yarn. It's going to be so pretty! I have loads of time to crochet now that I am off work due to COVID-19.
Your tutorial was so amazing I was able to write it out. I used close caption and no volume. Thank you.
Parabéns!!! Great Tutorial!!! Sou brasileira e pude entender perfeitamente o seu vídeo. melhor que muitos vídeos brasileiros. Muito obrigado.
Woo hoo excited to begin this stitch, you make it SO easy to follow! Love your pleasant voice and funky nails too 😘

O9
I am going to try and make it, pray for me😃😃😃
@@towannadiggs8774 Did you?
I LOVE this pattern. The neckline lays perfectly (unlike others). Currently, I have made this poncho 4 times. I am using it as a stash buster. Thanks for the clear instructions and clear camera angles!
This is wonderful to hear! Thank you so much for watching and commenting.
Thank you for this beautiful pattern! I'm going to make one for myself! God bless!
Very well explained ! Thanks love it
+MissJ Perez great to hear. Thank you for watching and commenting.
Did you try this pattern, it is BEAUTIFUL. I am going to try it.
I liked this pattern, although it's a bit more complex than my usual, but after you get in the rhythm it's not too bad. My poncho is coming along beautifully :)
Great to hear. Thank you for watching and commenting.
Lovely pattern and instructions are so clear! Made one as a gift.
This is the first time I was able to understand. Thank you Jonna.
+Kathy Phelps that's great to hear! Thank you for watching and commenting!

+Angela's Boutique. I'm so happy to hear you love it! Thank you for watching and commenting 🌸🌸🌸🌸
Excellent tutorial, Jonna. I love your name! How can you tell I am sincere? Because we named one of our 5 daughters JONNA MARIE! She is the youngest at 28. We also have 2 sons. Blessings on you and yours and all your viewers! (I was just reading through the comments and I so appreciate how interactive you are to help people. Thank you!)
+BanDana Gramma that spelling is so uncommon. Thank you so much for the complement 💕I'm very happy you enjoyed my video. Thank you for watching and commenting 🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸 Say hello you Jonna Marie for me.
I love your virus work. I've done one virus shawl from your tutorial and everyone wanted it. I ended up giving it away and I am so ready to do the poncho now. Thank you so much . Your instructions are great. Keep up the good work.
+Julie Torres that is great to hear! Thank you for watching and commenting!
Thanks u are so clear awesome beautiful art work making one for my 6year old niece
Wonderful! Thank you so much for watching and commenting.
Thanks for posting! Regardless of what the packaging indicates, the Boutique Unforgettable yarn is a lighter weight yarn than the Caron you are using. What size hook did you use for each? Wonderful tutorial!
+MEMORIA1316 I used a G 4.25mm hook. Thank you for watching and commenting 🌸🌸🌸🌸
Can you tell me how do do this for plus sized women? I really just need the chain ratio for this to work out right for when the virus start is. I am looking for up to 5x, which is not included in the pattern on ralvary
+Bevela Phipps the sizes are mostly just names. I do believe the Large with a larger hook than recommend and a worsted weight like a red heart with love will work well.
The regular size for example fits dress size 5-16 in my experience.
It's mostly how it fits over the shoulders after row 8 of the virus pattern.
Try the large, if it does not fit send me pics and info on hook and yarn you are using.
I'm sure I can come up with something, thank you for watching and commenting.
Thank you so much. I will give it a try. Love your video's and patterns. Marked as favorites on my youtube and subscribed to your channel :)
+Bevela Phipps thank you so much!! And thank you for subscribing! 🌸🌸🌸💕
Great video. Watched other videos on this stitch , yours I didn't run away. Definitely going to try now. Thanks for your time.😊
That’s wonderful to hear! Thank you for choosing my tutorial. I have lots of patterns with this stitch. Thank you also for watching and commenting.
I did one of these last year. Instead of using one kind of yard, I alternated after each main band of the poncho with four different colors of yarn. It turned out really well!
This sounds so lovely!! Thank you for watching and commenting.
Awesome tutorial do you have one for beginners.
+stephanie valentine no I don't 😔

I did crocheting and sewing as a teenager since then my things have gone on to automotive and home but love to see you having a good hobby
Thank you so much!
That was a very well done tutorial! I also love the fingernails and maybe it's just me, but they are real attention-getters and I found them distracting at times. Other than that, excellent!
Thank you so much.
You made this so simple. Just finished 8th row and enjoyed every minute.
+Daphna Maman I’m so happy to hear this! Thank you so much for watching and commenting!

Yours is the best tutorial on this virus poncho I’ve found. Thank you 😊
Thank you so much!
I love that you have turned the virus pattern into a poncho! So beautiful. I'm making this in Caron Big Cakes, in the colour cherry compote, but I might have to get some of that Red Heart Unforgettable yarn because it's so pretty too! I might make one in black, too.
Loved the video, I'm going to start one. Thank you

I am absolutely loving this pattern, Jonna! I had my heart set on making a nice poncho for myself and the upcoming Fall weather, but I could not find any that I liked. This pattern is perfect!! I am using a 4 ply yarn and a K size hook, and it is working up so quickly!! I've used 3 cakes of the Premier Sweet Roll in Raspberry Swirl. I think one more cake will make it a nice generous size. Thank you so much for this wonderful pattern, I really enjoy crocheting along with you! :)
Just finished a poncho, thankyou for your instructions very clear to follow. ..
