They don't have the time/budget for the shear hours of rehearsing lightsaber battles as they did for TPM on a tv show. Disney didn't even want to try that hard on the movies.
I have to agree the lightsaber duels in the live action Disney films and shows hasn't been as good as the prequels in my opinion. The best duel I've seen so far in this era was Obi Wan vs Darth Vader in the Kenobi series and even then the dark lighting and shaky camera made it a little difficult to see.
It would be so tragic if Omega doesn't survive. One of her best qualities is her unwavering empathy & willingness to save everyone, people, droids, dogs, cats. I wonder if this is unsustainable and will lead to her downfall. If she dies trying to save every animal in the Tantiss pound it would be sad but realistic at least?
Then again maybe Disney wants to keep her on the bench for a future show or comic.
I like how the Outlaws video game is going to be focused on the underworld in the Star Wars universe.

HEY JEDI WAY! This was a fun show and while you guys were predicting the finale, I had a thought on what I want to happen if Omega doesn't make it.
In the kids' rescue, Omega tells the Batch to protect them AT ALL COSTS. But when she says plan 99 and dies, Hunter, Wrecker, Echo, and Crosshair each take a child into their custody and head off in different directions because it's safer for them if they're on their own than together.
Selfishly, in another reality, in Ahsoka S2, I want to see Hera walk into a bar and say,"Hello, Copilot!" IYKYK
I'm reading the war of the Bounty hunters omnibus to get ready for Outlaws.
I’d love if they did a trilogy of movies adapting War of The Bounty Hunters, Crimson Dawn, and Dark Droids. Maybe for Disney Plus
I have a really hard time seeing Omega being killed off. I think she rescues the children & calls Ventress to help her take care of them
It is hard to imagine Disney doing that to a child protagonist on a child’s tv show
Luke-Vader in Return of the Jedi is still the most iconic fight in the franchise. The point of the fights should be extension of character and the conflicts of the characters. It may not be as flashy, but that fight typifies that.
There is no reason for a season pass in a paid single player game. Season passes are meant to support free to play games. It incentivizes game companies to give us less and charge us for stuff that used to come standard with the game. It's a bad practice.
You want to come close to that fight, you need to hire for it. Disney has yet to show they can find that level of talent in a fight choreographer.
I would bet Wrecker's "OH YEAH" that he shouts when he gets to blow shit up, also gets used with other types of explosions.
Omega's character proves you don't need to be a Jedi (OR wield the force) to be a truly good person & help others with a pure heart & with good intentions. Everyone's yapping about TBB or somebody from the clone rebel group to be the big finale death/s. But that's probably exactly what the writers want viewers to think. And then pull the rug from under us & give us something TOTALLY UNEXPECTED: Omega, learning the meaning of Tech's sacrifice so the rest of TBB can live to fight another day, just might be ready to do the same for those 4 kids she's locked up with. And then TBB or other clone survivors contact Asajj Ventress (she uses the Force, like Ahsoka with Grogu) to help reunite the kids to their families. IF Asajj & Quinlan Vos are already active with the hidden Jedi path, Ventress might even offer those families "a way out" so the empire, hopefully, never finds them again. Then all the clones can go inhabit Idaflor, the planet Hunter found back in s1. They can build their own peaceful colony & MAYBE finally get their well-deserved disney type "happily ever after" 🤞🤞🤞
The last 6 eps should have been double eps.
The only way to stop awful season passes in games is widespread sustained boycotts of them. Vote with your wallets people!

Han vs. Kylo was memorable, but unfortunately Han brought a holstered gun to a Saber fight. A bit of a rope-a-dope by Kylo though.

I’m 100% on the same page as Laura, Kevin and Rocha regarding “the controversy”. What kind of nonsense is it that Keene, in her opinion, wants to strive for or even surpass what she thinks is the best lightsaber fight and there are people that got bent out of shape over it... just wow.
Because Disney has been crap and the bigger budget movies haven’t had good lightsaber fights, so why would the lesser budget with a person whose not known for action like Keyes headland do any better. You have to actually look at the arguements the detractors are making.
@@zacspivey1185 but, there’s a difference between “Disney’s track record with Star Wars hasn’t been great and they’d be doing it with a small budget” and she’s dumb for wanting to match or even top an iconic light saber fight. People being petty and small minded in the Star Wars fandom, inconceivable!
@@Vulcanerd people are fine with competent action scenes. If Keen wants to say dumb stuff like that, she has to deal with consequences. Look, Rocha and his pals are going to defend whatever Disney has out, if critical drinker, mauler, or Jedi brooks, who don’t like 98% of Disneys output, say this show is good, then it is good. They’re the reason I checked out andor, and I haven’t regretted watching it.
@@zacspivey1185 And that’s what’s sad. The dogged, stubbornness of sticking with the narrative. Rocha, Kevin and Laura have things about Disney they like and they don’t. They don’t defend everything, but that fits your narrative. Rocha isn’t the biggest fan of the BoBF, Laura dislikes something which I found surprising bc it’s something that most Disney SW fans do (I forget which it is, but I think it got mentioned in this or previous Jedi way). And the notion that someone, probably understanding that Disney’s track record with SW movies hasn’t been the best recently, dares to want to make the best she and Lucasfilm can, is somehow scorn worthy? Is kinda pathetic and sad.

Article really felt like it was written by someone who really doesn't understand the industry. Talking about those tax credits like an innovation was a major red flag to me.
I kinda felt like it might be a lazy hit piece commissioned by folks who recently lost to Bob Iger in the board room shenanigans.
But I'm not familiar enough with Forbes specifically enough to gauge their willingness to publish something like that.
I think we're moving towards the Clone Rebellion being set on Tantiss. There will be very few survivors. Anyone, outside of the trio from Rebels, can die.
The Maul fight is the best fight. The RotS is right behind it.

While I don’t like Bad Batch as much as Clone Wars or Rebels, I hate to see it end. I wonder what the next animated series will be.
The 70's, 80's & 90's were great years for film. You can continue to call us "phobes & ists" for challenging sub standard content today but it is still sub standard. I can watch older diverse stories because they are good & have geat stories athe than focus soley on "the message£ fo their virtue signaling points. For you younger generation if you want to see a good female lead film check out 80's Beaches. You want to check out diverse cast films look to George A. Romero, John Capenter or Spike Lee. These presenters will continue to attack the fan base with the same failed tactics promoting poor shows & films. However what ever they call you they will see the lower & declining viewership data. Support the good, reject the bad, it is the only way we can get back to good stuff.

They have zero chance of equaling anything in the Prequels. You can strive for it. But don't claim you've managed it. That's impossible on a TV show budget.
Disney Plus has been famously losing money for years. This year is supposed to be the year it becomes profitable.
