The understanding among many inspectors or folks wanting to get into this business is that the companies who get the work from the financials institutions get paid a certain amount of money...then the company breaks off a piece of that money and gives it to the inspectors. Now, is the amount of money the inspectors get a fair portion? This is why I hear many people state they would rather deal with the financial institutions themselves and be able to earn more money for the same job. Watched to see what was entailed, and realized I've been doing field inspections for years as a commercial archaeologist -- site visits for existing cell towers and commercial structures, preliminary photos for antenna colocations onto existing structures, etc. Definitely adding this to my list, lol.

I just started the process with NNA to become a Notary Public and it's good to know about other services I can add to my title. I was hesitant about completing the application with NNA, but after watching so many videos on the channel, I'm confident this is the best decision to make. I've saved up enough for the course and exam, I just couldn't find any primo codes or discounts to help with the cost. I'm ready now though 😁😁

Hi, I throghly enjoyed this presentation. I have been a Notary fi 8 years and just finding out about NNA and all the things a Notary can do. I recently retired as a Property Manager in South Carolina and I performed property inspection on the properties I managed as well as preparing the property for insurance inspections. I never knew these opportunities existed for Notaries. South Carolina has nothing on their website. I would like to find out more so I can be in business for myself.

I’ve been a notary for years , I just completed LSA course and passed I haven’t completed any signings yet I would definitely love mentoring. I’m also a claims adjuster. I can't personally tell you if there's business there or not BUT I was told by a mentor that everyone will need a notary - whether it be for wills, deeds, adoption, marriage, etc. so I would assume you could find some with the proper networking in your area. Definitely invest in training! Best advice I received was to become more familiar with state laws & general notary work in general. CZcams (NNA & more) have great videos to binge watch. That's what I since Alabama is considered a "Silent" state. Also, I'm in the Tuscaloosa County area. Stay well & blessed!

Thus was AMAZING!!! I was,an insurance Adjuster for many yrs and still hold my license for my home state - TX. I've had my TX notary public since Aug 2022, but haven't stepped out there to do anything yet. I'm very interested in going the route of some of the jobs mentioned, especially inspections, verifications and mystery Shopper. I heard you need certifications in order to make more money as a Mystery Shopper. Is this correct? Also, do you need to be a Notary Public in order to do these jobs? And last, can you provide me the information regarding your mentoring program?

Hello, that is a professional business call and the protocol requirements of the company you are contracted with. If you are doing mystery shopping or other type of inspections, it would not be inappropriate to wear a nice polo shirt or oxford blouse. To wear a shirt, polo or blouse representing your business is not ethically wrong because if asked for a business card you'd provide one of your business. You act as an independent contractor. For each job you'd indicate what company you were representing for that specific job. Your brand can be considered professional attire. However, it is wise to read the requirements and/or contract to ensure / review the company's requirements.
