I'm from Europe and even though there are McDonald's and KFC's and other fast food chains in my country, I just don't go to fast food restaurants. It just isn't so common to order food or go out to eat. It is the American way of living. In my country, we are used to cooking at home from scratch. Every day. And we go to restaurants maybe once or twice a year, if at all. It's not about money, it's about the taste and about the custom or habit, or how to call it. I have been carnivore for about 3 months now, and now that I know of the danger of seed oils, I just lost appetite to go to restaurants at all. I make meat patties at home, on beef lard - and when I'm out and about, I just put them (and every other carnivore food item) in an insulated bag and take them with me. No problem. Who needs McDonald's or other places like that? But I respect you, doctor Berry. You are the reason why I have become carnivore. I haven't cheated even once, and even though I wasn't obese, I decided to start my carnivore life-style to be healthy. I wasn't even sick (yet), I just heard you talking about all the dangers and nasty stuff they feed us everywhere, including supermarkets, and I just want to prevent illnesses and diseases. Thank you very much, you are SO great.
McDonald's does not typically use premium grades of beef (like those used in high-end steakhouses), the beef is usually of a standard quality suitable for mass production and consumption.
I’ve only been on the carnivore diet for two weeks now but am absolutely loving it. I’ve dropped 12 pounds and feel energized. Today was the first time I tried the McDonalds route as I left the house this morning without my lunch. Chalk up my first horrible day on carnivore. I’m not a McDonald’s hater but I feel like crap. Not doing this twice.
Here in the Netherlands they charge you for the whole burger with pattie and everything. Despite ordering just the burger. I've tried this myself. Cost me a fortune.
I’ve been doing this for a week just because I have been lazy to cook but I’m losing weight like crazy. I can only eat three and I get the bacon and mustard in. I only eat two meals but my breakfast is bigger and I don’t go hungry at all. I eat at 11 and then at 4 and I’m done for the day. I feel amazing. Thank you!
Macdonald’s states it is 100% USDA beef. It goes on to say it is ground from trimmings of different cuts of meat like chuck and sirloin. I would not make it a dietary staple but it says they use no additives or fillers. The meat itself is probably full of hormones and fed grain or something other than grass 🤷🏻♀️ I think for people who struggle to feed their families he’s giving a healthier option for fast food. Since most everything else in the sandwich is carbs and sugar. I’m not carnivore but I see where he’s going.❤ nicely done sir.

I’d hit up the kebab shop and order just meat or kofta. I used to do that when I was stationed in Germany. Sausages from street vendors were good too but they usually closed down before the kebab shops.
This is showing people who are used to fast food stops that they can still keep that habit by just adjusting their order. One thing I do is order egg mcmuffins, no cheese, toss the muffins to the birds then just eat the egg and ham.
Man, I have to fight every mcd I go to to order off a LA carte. They always try charging me the sandwich. Wish we had In/Out. All you have to say is flying Dutchman.
Those quarter patties aren't to bad, at least they aren't frozen grocery store burgers. Used to work for McDonald's and I'd use my discount to order a bunch of patties every shift.
It's 100% angus beef, it's not different than the ground beef you buy at the store. All the bad stuff in Macdonalds burger is on the bun, the sauce, the fake cheese, etc... The beef is fine.
@@colinsmith3187Haha,yeah I totally understand. It's tough to trust McD's, but if if they say the patty is 100% beef I belive it's illegal for them to be lying. I do this sometimes out of convenience, the 1/4 lb patties at my local McD are $1.40 each and it's nice to not have to cook sometimes.

He's showing people how they can do the diet within their financial means. Still far healthier than 99 percent of most people's diets, McDonald's doesn't use seed oils on their grills, this is public information.
It's a good thing she knew what the à la carte menu was! Half the time I go to McDonald's, the person taking the order has never heard of it, and they need to get a manager. I even once had a manager who didn't know what it was! 🤣
I do this for my autistic son sometimes. He loves mcds quarter pounders paddies but not the buns. Mcds is just ground meat salted and pepper on the grill. Sirloin for quarter pounders, inside/outside round cheap cuts for little burgers and big Macs. All other fast food places burgers have fillers like bread crumbs, onion flakes, etc, not pure meat like mcds.
Yeah in Cali they force you to order a whole sandwich then take the bun off. So it actually cheaper to order a double quarter pounder which is like 8.60 vs a single 6.60 + a extra patty is +$5!😢
I like to order the sausage, egg, and cheese muffin without the muffin. It’s $5.39 for 2, and I just eat them with my hands. Perfect breakfast on my way to work!
Their sausage patties are not carnivore...they contain rubbish: Ingredients: Pork, Water, Salt, Spices, Dextrose, Sugar, Rosemary Extract, Natural Flavors. Dextrose, sugar and 'natural flavors' (probably some form of MSG).... no thanks!!!
Quite the contrary, animal tissue is the only thing that gets directly absorbed, and unlike vegetables does not need long time fermenting (which causes farting)
Nah bro they use oil. I just got refunded last night for a quarter pounder because it was so soaked in oil that when I lifted the burger out of the box it split in half lol. Remember that every McDonald’s is run by a different person.
Big fan of this method. The first time I felt weird, but apparently this happens often enough that they don't even hesitate. 100% ground beef and they [apparently] don't use any oil on the grill.
I'd wanna see your receipt to see how the cost was only $13. If you want to get fresh cooked ANYTHING at McDonald's, order it without salt. Everything is served heavily salted by default.
In NJ where I live they don’t discount it. I’ve ordered 3 before and they charged me for 3 actual burgers. Can’t move to TN fast enough lol! Two more years!
Agreed… anyone with half a brain knows that ain’t 💯 beef and it’s cooked in seed oils. Blows my mind that these so called carnivores would eat there. Tells me everything I need to know about them… complete shills.
Some locations may give you trouble or they'll deny they have an a la carte option. You can get around it by ordering through the app, but you'll need to have completed a previous a la carte order in store. When you order, make sure to scan your rewards code before you pay. Once that order is complete, it will show up under your recent orders. You can then save it to your favorites, and order from there in the future. The app does sometimes glitch and you won't see it under recent orders. If that happens, try logging off the app and then back in. It should now be there.
