I've stopped using drops of trace minerals and now use Real Salt in my drinks. Same trace minerals but more economical. Plus, I have a commercial-grade expresso machine. Much nicer than a kitchen appliance for coffee brewing.

@HuskyOps So glad we got rid of our automatic! No more water filters and descaling...what a hassle. We do have a grinder, but I don't really care about that. I can use 250 g of ground coffee way before it expires and it tastes fine to me.
I noted you recently said you were going to try to get away from heavy cream, and I wonder why, because I much prefer cream in my coffee, to butter. I don't have any insulin response to cream., and use only about 1 TBSP.
First of association is not causation. There is no evidence for cause and effect. Second what is theorized to increase prostate cancer when it comes to dairy is whey protein because it raises IGF-1, it has nothing to do with the fat. So the actual worry should be about protein powder which is 100% whey protein. Whereas the protein in milk is 20% whey, so to get the equivalent of one scoop of protein powder you would need to consume 100g of milk protein which equates to 2-3L of milk.

My concern though, is whether coffee interferes with nutrient absorption or not and whether if it causes any inflammation.
Ask the people getting 80g of sugar at Starbucks everyday
I do this with Irish ☘️ butter 🧈 and boy it’s a gateway to living like a fucking god. Best part is it’s affordable from Costco.
Perfect! The dude has a sense of humor!
I've stopped using drops of trace minerals and now use Real Salt in my drinks. Same trace minerals but more economical. Plus, I have a commercial-grade expresso machine. Much nicer than a kitchen appliance for coffee brewing.
Ive been doing this too
Real Salt as in simple table salt or is that a posh brand? Salt as in simply salt? What’s the difference from salting your egg when it’s on top of air fried bacon with your breakfast? I promise I’m not being sly or sarcastic- genuinely curious & new to/ considering a healthier diet for a new year 🧡🌈🏴
How much salt do you use in your drinks? I' m thinking you'd have to use a lot of Real Salt, with its trace minerals, to get the minerals we need, no?
As I live and breathe, this is the first time in my whole life, I'm 77years old, that I have heard a person puts butter in their coffee. This is amazing to me. I don't know if I have the guts to try it. I drank black coffee since I was about 20 years old.
well I like cream in my coffee. so I enjoy the butter it's pure cream. with the water content removed. if you drink your coffee black you probably won't like the butter. enjoy your coffee.
Unadulterated black espresso is the only way to go. People know so many ways to spoil coffee !
It's called bullet proof coffee - look it up. It's rich and delicious.
@@7sheavenly it’s an abomination of coffee 🥲
Butter and salt in my black coffee! Delicious
I love those lil ol hand blenders. They make great gifts too for coffee lovers.
Where do find those little ones? Please and thank you… preferably if know where locally 🙋🏼♀️👍🏻‼️
I’ve now been off coffee for a few months and I’m honestly feeling better. Better sleep, no more cramping (magnesium blocking), less workout soreness, even energy levels all day, better breath, and I’m not being controlled by a costly addiction.
I do miss it, won’t lie. Miss apple pie and donuts too. 🤷♂️
I have actually got up made a pot of coffee after a few cups went back to bed and slept like a baby! coffee helps me sleep. crazy huh. but true.
Looks like a great cup of Joey to me🔥☕🤣
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Parfait, mon ami !
😂
@Jennie Adams Hey Miss Jennie🥰😘 Happy Holidays ❤
Dr. Berry, try an Italian moka pot. Delicious and no pods. ✅️
@HuskyOps So glad we got rid of our automatic! No more water filters and descaling...what a hassle. We do have a grinder, but I don't really care about that. I can use 250 g of ground coffee way before it expires and it tastes fine to me.
I love browned butter in my coffee!
Been watching you for years. You are simply a handsome man.
So classy Doc 😃👍
Cheers, Joey 😂 ☕️ 🥩🥩🥩
This short made me happy.
Butter is one way to get the good qualities of cream without too many sugars…
Wrong. Cream and butter have the same macros. Butter is just churned cream
@Jennie Adams Take your cream and whip it for ten minutes. It's now butter. Same exact nutritional content, but you can believe otherwise...
Great mug!
Mug is great, even if the contents don't live up to it! 😆
I want that coffee cup !
What kind of water is that in the background? Deuterium depleted? Or spring/well water?
I noted you recently said you were going to try to get away from heavy cream, and I wonder why, because I much prefer cream in my coffee, to butter. I don't have any insulin response to cream., and use only about 1 TBSP.
Daily butter..! Watch out for your prostate when you are above 60.
No gall bladder. Tried it. In 5 min, it's a mad dash for the can.
Dr. looking like a lean mean carnivore machine. Thank you for helping so many of us.
I see what you did there, Doctor! The smack down! Nice... ☕🥩💪😁👍🥓🍳
Yep perfect timing
@@crystalnoonan4314 🤣😂😅 I unsub'd the little wisenheimer after his rant. 😉
@Thomas Hughes likewise 😉👍
So classy Doc 😃👍
@@thomashughes4859 Which wiesenheimer and what rant? 🤔
Question: why butter? Is it a health benefit? Thanks in advance for responding ❤
Tastes great, doesn't spike insulin, helps satiety when fasting...
@@KenDBerryMD Thanks for responding back! I will try that.
@@roxanaianchis yep
Also, it takes away any BITTERNESS!!👍🏻
Why did that coffee come out looking creamy color thou yum
thanks Dr Berry I'll try you've been right on spot on with everything else and you've been saving my life otherwise with keto diet and carnivore and I love coffee
Why does the coffee coming out look like it has cream added and not black?
I am strict carnivore,no coffee for me,gave it up when I started carnivore October 1st
Goals for me!💯😊
Tried it but felt no difference and I just enjoy a morning coffee
me as well...@@Nick-gg6tg
I have always wondered if the plastic from the cups ends up in our system 🤔
I use a ceramic or a stainless steel cup. I don’t use plastic for anything but may be a baggie in the refrigerator.
Keurigs are for lazy baristas
Oh so healthy
@@luisdetomaso867just letting you know, that's not a keurig.
@@caroline-s Single serve pod coffee machines are for lazy baristas. There, are you happy now?
He saves lives.
I now use paper filter ( brown) as I read it was better. 99% awesome here doc.
Seriously, try extra virgin coconut oil in coffee. It's phenomenal
how do you know if its pure and not cut with another oil or rancid?
@@StreetTruckinTitan don't know for sure. That was years ago. Try it though. That stuff is expensive. Haven't bought it since. I'll definitely check the label the next time I buy it.
@@StreetTruckinTitan
First turn the glass jar around, & it needs to say '100% First pressed, unrefined, organic coconut oil, cold pressed', I get mine from Aldi- it's my favorite brand- they have organic 'Ghee' (clarified butter), so incase you can't tolerate dairy- use Ghee!👍🏻😊
Whenever hot water comes into contact with plastic while making coffee, microplastics are getting into your beverage.
Not practical to tell people to avoid instant coffee makers. Everyone isn't privileged
@@thakraken6995 I make my coffee in an old French Press which was much cheaper than a coffee machine (and a new one is too) and the coffee itself is cheaper per serving than those pods.
@@thakraken6995 Wow, so having knowledge about something is a "privilege" now? Clown World just gets clownier by the day. It's also quite ironic you'd say that while the privileged Dr. Berry uses his plastic coffeemaker. LMAO
@@christopherhoffman5889 did I say that knowledge was a privilege? Or do you have to pretend I said that because you fear addressing what I actually said? @@thakraken6995 “Embarrass” me? Over the internet? I don’t live in your world. You started this whole thing off by putting words in my mouth. I wasn’t trying to tell anyone to “avoid” anything. Was just providing information.
I really don’t like arguing with pompous morons over the internet. Bye bye now.
I need one of these stirers
Ghee or butter diffused into the coffee it is really good
not concerned about drinking boiled plastic particles from those k cups?
They aren’t plastic they are aluminum.
