That's awesome for the Mario Party. Been looking at it for a while because it comes with the joycons. That sale sealed the deal. Glad you mentioned it. Still waiting on Metroid Prime 2 and 3. Going through Prime 1 remastered trying to 100% it.

I'm torn. On one hand, if Samus got in Fortnite, that could give Metroid the same kind of boost Smash gave it back in the day, which it definitely needs. On the other hand, I feel like she dodged a bullet, because Fortnite. Also how would that even have worked? Carrying around regular-ass guns even though her arm cannon is right there.
Unless they would have gone with Zero Suit Samus, in which case she DEFINITELY dodged a bullet.
(Also let's be real, even if they did go with her full powersuit, depending on when those talks were had, it probably would have been the Other M design, not the Dread suit.)
I honestly just don't see the appeal of multiplayer games in general, outside of Mario Kart, though, so this whole trend towards games as service multiplayer bonanzas with all these weekly promotions and blah blah blah sounds like the polar opposite of what I enjoy in games. I won't object if Prime 4 has a multiplayer mode like Echoes tried, but I still want a well-crafted singleplayer to be the main focus.
Nintendo wanted the Samus skins only visible on Switch. Epic has allowed exclusives before like Krados. I think what Nintendo was more asking is, if you or someone else is wearing a Samus skin, but you or someone else is not on a Switch, you or the other guy sees a default skin.

You're not really missing out on anything by not playing Fortnite. I love it and at first I thought I would never play it, but then I got it on my Switch and I love it. You're not excessively missing out, but it's definitely a Good game.

Fortnite is a fun game and could have benefited from Samus Aran (with the opposite being true, too), but oh well…maybe one day!

Yeah I'm not into Fortnite at all but it has evolved so much that it actually looks pretty fun now. Too bad I suck at these type of games and easily get motion sickness on any game beyond 2D side scrollers and fighting games 😢

I have been gaming for 13+ years... I have never played roblock or fortnite.
No Metroid in Fortnite doesn’t make sense, when, for Fall Guys, Sony got Ratchet and Clank character skins as system exclusives. Why they couldn’t do something similar with Metroid and other Nintendo characters in other Epic Games games. Yes you can physically see the character skins on all platforms but can’t purchase them from those other systems. They are just saying no to advertising their IP on a pretty large platform. Metroid and Mario are both in Rocket League and that’s Epic games
