I haven't pre-ordered any games so I wasn't affected by it but I would speculate there's 2 plausible reasons that could've happened. Either they're still trying to work out what price to make the games on amazon or it's just a bug in their system.

Amazon is weird anyway. I’m still waiting for the digital code to sims 4 crystal creations stuff pack to show up on there. It’s been out a while and they have the other packs for the game. I don’t know what their deal is cause it’s been out for a while now

Several Switch Games are on sale on Amazon! Prince of Persia The Lost Crown is only $29.99 (USUALLY $49.99) which I HAD to buy, and some older games like Mario Odyssey and Breath of the Wild are only $39.99!

I heard some people were complaining about the look of that new prince of Persia game by the dead cells people but it’s whatever to me since I am not interested in the game regardless. 😂. Also as was pointed out on Reddit, Nintendo Is not a fan of Amazon because of something with Amazon allowing the sale of fake 3ds’s or something. So there was conflict in the past between the 2. But this isn’t a big deal though. Just pre order from somewhere else. Like Walmart or GameStop or some other place. Since they are Nintendo games by Nintendo, they should be plenty of copies so people should be able to get it regardless. Not too sure about endless ocean though since it’s obviously a smaller game compared to other Nintendo published games
