Exactly so did i, i have never had a wired connection and have downloaded games in sleep mode several times
I've re-downloaded an entire 400gb of games in one day while the Switch was in sleep mode via my WiFi on two different consoles. I never changed any specific online settings so it does this out of the box. No wired needed indeed.
The problem with controller remapping is is not complete. You cannot for example invert the controller and play right-handed with a single joy-con.
You can however invert the dpad in Pro controller/ twin joycon mode.
Also you can't invert the controller for opposite camera movement either like Super Mario 64.
I came here to say this, too. It floors me that they actually made that claim. Lol
i knew all of that. i mostly use the zoom feature when i play on a tv because whenever its on tv words and numbers and stuff like that is too small to see. it is the same with the playstation 4 words and other stuff is too small to see. so i use the zoom button for both switch and playstation 4 to read what i need to read.
I'm visually impaired and use the zoom for reading absolutely everything in handheld and docked. The Switch didn't have this at launch, and I could couldn't play anything that required reading of any kind. Their zoom is now one of the best out there for me.
The parental control app gave us those iconic bowser and bowser jr ads
I knew 13 of them. As for the zoom text feature, that can actually be useful if you use a Switch Lite or don't have access to a larger screen to plug your Switch into.
I knew all of these. And a bonus fact: In the system settings there is an option to disable the screen lock, so you don't have to press a button three times

What do you expect from Nintendo Indie world today ??
I need the zoom feature (on my tv) all the time because my eyes are pretty bad and game text seems to be getting smaller and smaller. It's quite annoying though because I have to enter/exit zoom mode for every popup or dialog.
TOTK and Kirby Forgotten land are examples for where I need that all the time.
I would like it if you can turn off the Home button for 2nd, 3rd, and 4th players and have the home button only work on 1st player so something like your younger brother, sister or cousin won’t have the ability to spam Home button and annoy everyone who is playing. Home button doesn’t pause the game so if we play something like smash and someone spams the home button nobody can see what they’re doing.
TL;DR Make it possible to make the 1st player be able to press the Home button to avoid Home Screen spamming from the other players.
I got a new TV and now that 1st feature doesn't work anymore.
I use the parental control app to limit my 4 year old daughter's game play time :) it is handy!
I'm curious to know what use there would be to hooking up the switch controllers to your phone via Bluetooth. I was considering purchasing a professor Layton game on my phone, could I use the Joycons for that?

You do not need a wired connection to download stuff in sleep mode. I do it all the time. You can do it via your wireless wifi connection easily. No idea why this said you couldn't.
