Considering his backstory with food is insane, he loved her so much that he went out of his way to food her

Their relationship is easily one of my favorites..

The fact that iguro would cook for her and give her gifts as a sign of affection towards her must be so validating for her since she was always called ugly and basically fat 😭 he doesn’t even like food but he would cook specifically for her and the fact that he ends up being a cook when he reincarnates is such a chefs kiss to their whole relationship 😭 I would love to see a spin off of these two I feel like there’s so much potential for content .

A ship I never knew I needed?!! I really wasn’t expecting any of the hashiras to end up together, let alone the POLAR OPPOSITES?! 😭😭 it wasn’t until every platform started displaying bits and pieces of these two did I realize that they actually have a connection. Not only are Mitsuri and Obanai well written characters, development of their relationship is much more realistic and refreshing rather than forced like most couples we see in mainstream anime! Even though I read all of this already, I still got a little misty too seeing them confess while dying in each other arms again. I absolutely love this pair.
What i liked about their relationship is, mitsuri is always looking for a strong man, but she fell in love with someone "physically weaker" yet this person doesn't put her on a pedestal, but sees her as an equal. The reincarnation was well-deserved for the two.
I just find it amusing that DS angsty boys sanemi and iguro developed feelings for warm cutie girls like kanae and misturi.
Bro....... when I read these chapters about their backstory and relationship I was in a coma for so long.... and then I went to find any fanfics that could elaborate on their relationship "what ifs" to happily break my heart even more UGHHH. I hope once this gets animated, more people will write their headcanons for these two. They deserved so much more.

Yes! Rengoku was her mentor. He was trying to teach her fire breathing first then eventually she developed her own technique-love breathing which took some inspiration from fire breathing.
The reason Iguro why Iguro could be classified as my favorite Hashira is the fact that he is practical and ruthless and does not seem to take sides as seen when Tanjiro was placed on trial by the Hashiras.
