The fact that rengoku didn’t manifest his mark fighting akaza is just plain dumb. He met every condition to be able to, not to mention his fighting spirit is probably among the strongest if not thee strongest out of all the hashira.

For me it ruined the manga, in the context of how it was reading it suggested gojo could come back. I somewhat feel like these creators get annoyed with fandoms when they push there ideas and then deliberately change what they were originally going to do. Me personally I would have preferred yuji to be fighting then gojo to appear and do 1 last attack to help yuji land the killing blow.

Mitsuri was NOT outmatched against Zohakuten. If he was the main body, Mitsuri probably could've beheaded him without the mark using her fifth form. It just so happened that he wasn't and Mitsuri didn't know that Zohakuten was a clone. I feel like people downplay her too much because she happened to get stuck playing tag with Nakime and was the target for Muzan's first major blow. Imo, Mitsuri's at least stronger than Muichirou and Rengoku. While Muichirou needed the DSM to defeat Gyokko, Mitsuri was practically handing Zohakuten's ass to him, compressed shockwaves aside. We also don't know how Muichirou would've faired against Muzan, nor how Mitsuri would've faired against Kokushibo, so they're at least interchangeable. Base Rengoku is 100% weaker than marked Mitsuri and marked Muichirou. Akaza was clearly toying with him and didn't take the fight seriously until after he turned Rengoku into a donut. While marked Rengoku is probably stronger than them, there's just no way a base Hashira from this generation (excluding Gyomei) could be stronger than a marked one. In short, Mitsuri's underrated af and Rengoku in terms of powerscaling is overrated af.

Guessed this was gonna happen it’s so disappointing, Gege has disappointed yet again It ruins Gojos character by making it that only his body/abilities were what was special and not actually his mind/soul. So if you have a good ability that’s all you need nothing else matters, you as a person doesn’t matter. It defeats the reason to better and improve yourself….. it makes you an Isekai character that was born in another world with all over powered abilities, you don’t matter it’s the powers you got with no effort.
