Kurogri was programmed to act as Shigaraki's guardian and assistant. Not to mention, with Shirakumo's personality revealed to the kind of person That would take in a stray kitten. It makes sense that Kurogri would do whatever is necessary to protect Shigaraki. Even if it means helping the Heroes, whether or not Shirakumo comes back.

I don’t mind Deku’s arms being healed at all. Deku saved Eri by putting his very life on the line, now she’s putting herself on the line for him. As friends, they’ve got each other’s backs. This is the kind of story Horikoshi has always been trying to write, that REAL, strong friendship can overcome all trials no matter how terrible. Even the delay in rewinding Deku’s arms serves a purpose- Deku needs to rely on all the friends and allies he’s made throughout the story, because even if they’re weaker and can’t defeat AFO, without them he’d never be able to do it either.

I mean honestly…no I don’t think this was a fake out, Eri was the final shot in a couple of chapters back and for a while she’s been working on her quirk outside the main story, so to me this wasn’t as much a obvious plot point but more gearing up for this moment, like realistically it was either Deku either goes on fighting using shoot style against AFO or Eri comes in and rewinds his arms back.
So honestly if anyone were to get upset then they clearly missed the plot that being set up for this to happen.
I mean, you're right, it was set up. But it still feels cheap. Like Deku lost his arms fighting the final boss then literally next chapter, bam, got them back. May as well not lost them at all because what was the point? Bro didn't even fight AFO armless. The writer did this for cheap drama.
The problem is when we get down to it, Eri is a literal walking and talking deus ex machina thanks to her quirk. Like I literally called it that Deku was gonna get his arms back thanks to Eri and I'm a little disappointed that I was right. But oh well, based on what happened, I doubt we'll get another cop-out like that again.

Oh I’m with you dude it’s hella cheap and obvious plot point that’s been done to death, but I feel Horikoshi knew he had to use her somewhere down the line and with how Lemillion got his powers back when it was necessary this was very much gonna happen regardless.
Like I’m all for plot twists done right and with the whole AFO thing with Shigaraki it was set up well but the obvious execution was written on our faces, like I get the rage and people upset like I hear you, but I also feel it was kinda obvious to where it wasn’t even surprising just bland.

Kurogiri protected Shigaraki for some reason, I don't even think Shigaraki will die. but it would be a very contradictory resource if the power stored in Eri's horn fused with ofa while Deku was rewinding and gave him the ability to rewind/heal any future injuries almost instantly like Shigaraki did with his healing quirk, I mean deku has something ofa
2:05 Thinking about it from this angle, AFO’s statement makes sense. The various Quirks of the previous OFA users are only as powerful as they are for Deku because they can draw upon the stockpiled power of OFA. That core Quirk belongs to Yoichi, so if he disappears, the other quirks go back to being the unimpressive, weak Quirks they originally were. Thus, they’re useless to AFO.
Well, if Shinomori's Danger Sense goes back to how it was before, then AFO is going to start having crippling headaches because he's going to get attacked from all over. I know the weakened students may not be much of a threat individually, but they're going to make themselves as much of a danger as possible if it means giving Deku a chance to win.

Set this whole story has been an absolute mess there's no consequences for any of these stupid kids actions there's a war Ark and none of them are getting punished there's so many problems in the story and they still so many people defending it it is absolutely sad I can't be surprised this is mha for a reason.
I don't consider this outcome to be cheap by any means. Some of you have probably played Mass Effect and went above and beyond to secure the best outcome for the fight against the Reapers, as well as the secret scene at the end of the Destroy Ending.
This is the culmination of Deku's hard work, and he would have been left without arms if it weren't for the fact he EARNED back his arms for all that he's done. None of this is happenstance; he earned the loyalty and camaraderie.
ive seen some people theorize shigarakis original quirk being air walk which you know does make sense as its in a way a direct upgrade to Float and quirks do tend to get stronger as they are passed down

I feel that this is showing that Deku won't just end up like All Might. All Might stood alone- while he was indeed the peak of hero society, there's only so much one man can do alone and he suffered greatly due to being the Symbol of Peace. Class 1-A was able to drag Deku out of that same mindset and now they alongside so many others can give him the support he needs.

Cutting off Eris horn, and her maybe losing her Quirk because of it (my theory) is BRILLIANT. I always worried about Eri healing anyone, cause if she does it for one person, why not do it for the next one and the next one? Heal Enji, heal Dabi. She could literally heal everyone and it would be lame, all sacrifices would feel cheap. Brilliant writing imo

Well with what we've been seeing, it does have a limit (rewind), since it's a stockpile based quirk it has the weakness all stockpile powers have, she needs to stockpile energy to use her quirk, and as we read when she wanted to heal all might or bakugo, she couldn't, because they already sustained that damge for too long already, and she doesn't have the stockpile to heal those, sure she can heal most wounds still, but they need to be right by her for her to get the chance, and since she already used most of her stockpile on Mirio to get his quirk back, her ability to rewind damage us already too low to the point where her horn is barely able to heal midoriya's arms
@@zeno-cc4434 That's very true, but I feel like with the warp gate, she could have been there super quick, like an in and out situation. That's what I meant, I think it's brilliant to have those limitations, otherwise it would just be a lose - lose writing wise. Heal everyone: cheap. Heal no one: why write a qurik like that in the first place? Heal only certain people: also kinda weird.
So the way it is handeled now, with the points you added, is the best case scenario imo
@@katk2265 thanks, it's kinda easy to forget the limits of stockpile quirks because of the first one we are introduced and mainly see are things like OFA, which is an anomaly amoung stockpile quirks, since it has storage over multiple lifetimes

More likely than not, disabling Deku's arms is a way to give the rest of the heroes their time to shine. To have them show why they are heroes by saving the story's hero until the hero has the time to return with a twist.
Most fan theories have been adressed to this point except the one regarding both Deku's possible original quirk and Deku's dad, so I think either of those have to be the final twist where he returns to the battle.

I agree with you about Deku getting his original quirk somehow- Reason behind that is I don't see how it makes sense to give up one for all just to end up with New order which is useless in my opinion over the draw backs of two rules per time.

the way rewind was used here, was the horn(which has DNA) was put on one of dekus open wounds. since the afo quirk and ofa quirk kinda got mixed together a bit, deku might get rewind since eri gave the horn to be used on deku knowing she might lose her quirk. I think deku may be able to take rewind if ofa was modified during that mix. The modification might allow deku to take a quirk if the other person willed it, and DNA is transferred. Big if. Lets say deku has rewind even if its almost out of use. Ofa can supercharge quirks that the user has. Since rewind and ofa are both stockpiles, rewind might be able to use ofa as a energy source.
I always knew rewind could make or break the plot. The author will have to be extremely careful here on how he intends to use this power.

This made sense we all know that hirokoshi loves the marvel series so having a bunch of hero’s coming through the portal ready to fight Afo was all ways a possibility and deku getting his hands back so quickly doesn’t matter cause I didn’t see or hear people being angry about how ichigo kept lose and gaining his powers back easily or over a small amount of time y’all just need to stop hating and just sit back relax and enjoy the manga or anime before it ends

Izuku's 100% OFA will be more powerful than All night's 100%, so I'm not worried if he gained his quirks back he'll still be a beast/Godly in mha world like All Might, tho if he wouldn't gain the quirks back he wouldn't be able to give OFA to someone else because he lost the first user.

He might not be able to use the users quirks right now, but he still can use 45% of OFA..

8:08 I think you got it mixed up. It’s not that Deku will take 2-3 minutes to rewind, it’s that his body will rewind 2-3 minutes back. This is why Aizawa asked how long it has been since he lost his arms, because the horn could only rewind 2-3 minutes. Obviously it’s not going to take 2-3 minutes to rewind, since you can already see Dekus arms taking shape at the end of the chapter.
10:02 like I said in the comment above, he will only be rewinded 2-3 minutes back, so most of the stuff mentioned is false. The only thing that might happen is him getting his quirk back, as we saw Mirio get his “permeation” quirk back because of eris power

We can't be sure of anything at this point since Horikoshi has been super vague about how the quirks actually incorporate into AFO and OFA (not to mention the whereabouts of the stockpiling quirk's vestige) but OFA getting Eri's rewind vestige through her horn would be the biggest game changer of all (no more permanent damage if it acts in tandem with the stockpiled power). Also, everyone's looking super badass while Kaminari looks derpy as all hell

And just when it looks like AfO's attack might kill Deku, who is still a sitting duck, he is stopped by Tenko using Float, which gives Deku just enough time to fully recover and strike back.

In my opinion is that Deku got his arms reminded and got his quirk back in the process as his arms were rewinded it must of obviously rewinded his quirk back into him aswell because I have seen clips of him still fighting , people are saying he lost his quirk, and others are saying he only has one for all and not the built up quirks, and from the newest leaks, he still has his quirk at the moment, so I believe eris horn rewinded Deku back to when he had his quirk and arms, bc when he lost his arms he did lose the built up quirks to, Deku explained to Aizawa he had to give up one for all but then Aizawa priced him with the horn obviously, so it shows Deku must of also got his quirk back in the process he got his arms back
I just remembered Deku still has float and transfer because shigaraki rejected shimura and he couldn’t transfer transfer because he wouldn’t be able to pass the abilities to shigaraki without it
I feel the arm fix might end up being territory, since it's coming from a cut off horn. A 'quick-fix' if you will, that won't give Deku the same strength and/or durability his previous arms had.

I think Rewind works kinda like Orihime's powers. It doesn't simply "heal" a certain injury or anything. Instead, it just reverts that specific object into a certain state. In other words, the present event is simply rejected in such a way that it never even happened or occurred in the first place.
It’d be kind of funny if Deku has a quirk singularity and names it “Thanksgiving” in reference to all the US themed smashes that allmight named

I think it should reveal that he had a qurik all along. It took the power of rewind to unlock it because we still have no clue on who his father is or was so I feel that should have a part in the story.

You always sum up the chapters best and i appreciate that However I had hope, i really did that somewhat later on it would be different but it isn't every thing that led up to this can STILL be sum up to what I've said before...Cmon it should be painfully obvious by now...well lets play a game shall we, im not being sarcastic -Count the number of scenes in pages through out BNHA were the heroes have the advantage over the villains and and do the same with the villains-Isn't it that when it seems the villains might fight back-I know even you have read between the lines-AFO Never had a chance cuz he's written to be predictable and thats exactly what the heroes were counting on.I will sum up what i interpret what the heroes plans was from the beginning. It was ALWAYS from the first battle, when they fought the villains, it may look like they just wanted to capture all the villains but its more than that-Its for Twice and Gigant-Hawks knows it would be difficult to get someone like Dabi, but it is VERY CRUTIAL that they get twice, cuz the heroes are WRITTEN to learn from their battles unlike AFO, and they know Karagiri and twice were MOSTLY used in their previous encounters and they may not have powerful quirks but are very important non-the less..I think you can figure out where all MY lets say disagreement with the writing started-it was when Momo did what she did to Gigant...I will NEVER forgive her and with NO HUMOUR that i tell you, I have the manga vol till 36 but the vol where she did what she did i get it locked separated from the rest, she needs to be accountable for her illegal action.This final fight all AFO actions are written like he is a fool not a dangerous mastermind that had lived for a long time.Think about this- It never occur to him that MAYBE the heroes would use a tactic that has been around for centuries to defeat him?That he never consider thought his "Air quote" genius mind that his two greatest accepts that he has showcase throught out the feaking story would be used against him??I now would point out key aspects of the final war that I think you too have notice but just kept at the back of your mind-1.Notice in vol36 there is a page with a view of the trap for shikaraki- notice anything? yes it it far from the mainland BUT close enough for a certain Sniper hero to use her quirk, and what did we conveniently see later on? AFO with his brilliant mind never once thought what will happen if his comrades get captured and how convenient it is that the heroes HAPPEN to have a brainwasher quirk user which comes to my MOST important fact-The heroes knows about his reversing quirk-they were banking on it-the whole plan was forcing him to use iy as quickly as possible before he intended to use it.Thats why all the heroes went to his location to put as much pressure on him as possible-and what did we see happens? He was force to fall in their trap-lets back up and talk about another convenient aspect of the plan that is written for the heroes-They have faced Gigant and like i said before learnt from their mistakes-That is why the brainwash user was at that location with Mt. Lady to face him-They knew might would not take him down so they use cunning which again AFO lacks significantly-They knew time was of the essence and the fastest way to beat him is TO USE HIM-Again the heroes are NO FREAKING BETTER than the villains at how they treat him-look what happen to him...Hawks even though battered and bruise along with the rest of them know they have done what they said out to do, all they needed now was time-How VERY VERY convenient it is that AFO hatred for All might cloud his rational thinking and thus leads to his ultimate demise...All shikaraki does through out this battle is some what defend himself, sure he was still dangerous and almost killed Bakugo and look thought ALL the manga panels again and tell me if the process of the story isn't like this- The heroes gets the upperhand all through the fight-When it seems that it might shift to the villain's-an aspect comes along and thrashes that-Even now what do we see happens? The bane of the villans ALL Through out the story lives and is STILL a bane to them-but oh noooo AFO don't take out one of the recourses of the heroes who has always help in thwarting our plan and is doing it now with the help of our own like i said another important aspects of AFO plan Karakiri...Also raise hands everyone who KNEW Eri is somehow gonna lets say the magic word together CONVENIENTLY help gets Delu hand back when AGAIN it seems like for a FREAKING few panels all hope is lost but nooo we would always extend an olive branch to the heroes in our writing..

AFO said he couldn't feel tomura or decay after he took back over so now that deku has hands again he will probably have decay and just dust AFO or he might rewind to when he had a quirk before the doctor stole it.
Would be pretty cool if Deku’s quirk had been stolen as a kid and rewind gave it back to him. Though I guess this probably wouldn’t happened when Eri healed him during the overhaul fight.
Still. I think we’ve yet to see the final act of OFA. The individual factors may be gone but it’s possible the core is with deku still. Regardless of where the vestiges are. This could be growth. He can’t rely on the vestiges to teach him anymore.
