------------------------------------------------------
Forward bending is an act of surrendering to “what is”. While easily said, it’s important to have a road map. As we learn in life “the map is never the territory”. What your body can do may be very different from one day to the next. We must always make adjustments and modifications where necessary, and patience is required. This class is an effort to keep you and your physical body safe, and build understanding step by step while creating the balance necessary for a quiet balanced mind.

Hi Rafa, i know how difficult this pose was for me. It helps to have a road map to navigate life and the small things like, Passcimottasana. :)) Thanks
Great info. I look forward to this practice as this is a difficult pose for me. I am also looking for a slow flow.
Hi Joyjscp,
Hope that class helped. The slow flow noted! Blessings. X
Unfortunately, if the student wants do close his chest, he will. Elbows down or to the side, they close. It’s distressing to watch them sometimes.
Dear Cati, this is true but with a dedicated teacher he will begin to see the benefits one day. Once that happens no turning back. Curiosity and interest will help to transform. As teachers patience and compassion is a must. Much love and respect.X
