My mom wouldn't eat she would just watch you eat and ask repeatedly if it was good, say how hard it was to make/expensive to buy, that she paid for it...even when we had guests. Super uncomfortable.

i actually saw the account before it went private because i was having the same questions as noel and what i could gather is that both ppl in the relationship have some sort of intellectual disability, the guy more so then the girl, and she kinda takes care of him but in a sped way that’s why she’s making weird videos. im assuming she went private because ppl started treating them like shit which is what usually happens.

I’m not trying to be ignorant but how would she be abusing him? Couldn’t he just break up with her?
@@user-gb9lz5ee7g most people being abused either dont know they are till its "too late", don't know at all, or feel like they deserve it. Manipulation works, and it can get tricky cause sometimes people manipulate subconsciously and aren't doing it with the explicit intention of " oh if I systematically devalue them, make them feel dependent on me, feel like they are useless without me, love bomb them so they never question me or my behaviors, Ill get what I want!" Sometimes they just know it works. Other times ofc its malicious. In this case IF its abusive, its because shes trying to guilt trip him into being grateful by saying how hard it was to get, how shes so good at taking care of him, etc. Which can make someone feel helpless or infantilized. Someone speculated he MAY have an intellectual disability and shes taking advantage of that, because she knows he wont know better and will be easier to manipulate and less likely to know he should leave. This is all ofc speculation and we dont know if its just a weird bit. You really should look up readons why people dont leave abusive relationships though. Its not as simple as many people think unfortunately. Hope this helps
@user-gb9lz5ee7g Regardless of your clearly naive and simple-minded view of an abusive relationship. You can't "just leave or just break up." There is a much deeper psychological nuance and the fear of leaving someone you're in a relationship with is much greater than the fear of staying with them. It could even go a step further than that, and someone could be unable to leave due to being physically restrained or stuck in a rough spot financially to such a degree where leaving just simply isn't possible
@@user-gb9lz5ee7g it's not like you can tell the future and break up with someone before they start being abusive. and when it starts it can be hard to realise that the situation you are in is bad and get out. it's why it helps to have a good support network of friends and family who can give you an outside perspective and let you know what's up. plenty of people do eventually realise their situation and leave but that doesn't mean their partner wasn't abusing them. and sometimes there's a lot of factors at play that can make it difficult to untangle yourself from and abusive partner even if you want to get out
