What pisses me off is that Facebook doesn't stop the conniving con artist in the first place.
But they will most certainly curb the words that you post. On very valid information. God forbid if you share information they don't want you to share your canceled. Or put in CZcams or Facebook or Twitter jail.
@@MzClementine Seriously, I just wrote a post that suggested Vic had a fetish for women in a hijab.. with a disclaimer..and YT pulled it down. I wrote it differently and it stayed up.

@Đeath Vader I never called it a “sick” fetish though - just a fetish. I did add that I really didn’t care, wear what you like but it’s bad that I have to add a disclaimer to a statement to not be deemed offensive and some keyword combination probably got triggered to block it.

But I do expect them to do a text scan of a new account against a list of authenticated members, especially where the email address or phone number is potentially from a blacklisted domain. The truth, and no one wants to admit it, is that it is almost impossible to prevent these scammers from plying their trade, especially if they're overseas and operate under a different set of local laws. They violate TOS, so what, they just create a new fake account. To stop it requires something no one wants - which is global ID that uniquely identifies you. It is doable but not very palatable.
That's the Vic Dibitetto I know, at first subdued, then violently pissed off.

Make you wonder which is worse, the scammers, or the people who believe in them, that are so gullible, that if you where to tell them it rainy and chilly outside, they would grab a bowl then a poncho, along as you got those who will fall for it, the scammers will keep scamming.
First watch scammer payback. Guy deletes files while on phone with scammer trying to get bank info. Just give in. If some one wants to give u there bank info. Take money out then give back as gift
The worst part is, Facebook does nothing about it. I've contacted them about a page claiming to be my company, twice. Facebook has done NOTHING about it.
Facebook will slap a Covid fact check on something that has nothing to do with the effin thing yet, the useless Fakebook will do NOTHING NOTHING about a stolen account. I guess it depends if you belong to the CIA whether you can get anything corrected on FB or not. 🙄 I'm also sick of all the scam texts I get on my phone. That alone makes me want to throw the phone in the pond. Lol
Racking Facebook they should be responsible for this mess or Facebook should be CLOSED FOR EVER.
@@MizRuthie I got jailed at fb for FACTCHECKING an entire false claim about Covid being a bacteria, etc. And provided the article so people would recognize it when they saw it

These scams can't be stopped, only embraced, so Vic, once in a while, highlight one of your fans who was last scammed, feature them (and their scammer) by name, and mock them.

I got 5 calls in six minutes from the same company for extended warranty on this wrong vehicle. This really pissed me off!!!!!!!
Scammers suck. I fell for a scam once on instagram. Whenever I’m asked for money, I block the person and report them.
Doesn't Tony Gaga got a guy who can make these scammers "disappear?"

I work with older patients. Over six years, I have had five of them scammed for no less than $1000! These individuals are on a limited income and are Devastated financially afterwards.
This is a billion dollar business and they are constantly coming up with new and innovative ways to scam people. Asshats!!! 😡😡

There are 30 million fake profiles on Facebook alone. It's a damn shame. Even on Marketplace, some people are putting up fake ads for renting a home or room. I've had several people try to stand me trying to get me to pay deposit up front or go to the house and somebody else lives there. It's really messed up

My favorite one I get calls claiming they are from the IRS claiming they will revoke my driver's license freeze my bank blah blah. Folks the IRS will never call you unless you request a call they will send you a letter same with social security office
I just got an email from someone who wanted to help 5 people with their rent. I clicked. They wanted $100 to get $500. I stated it was a scam. No free lunch. He then said fu.

I’ve been getting texts from ??? Claiming they are from UPS couldn’t deliver. They claim $3 fee is required to update the address.
I just got a message like this from Angry Grandma's Page. Now I could tell it was a scam and Angry Grandma didn't send me this. They were wanting my banking info to send my prize too! Like Hell! The fake page blocked me when I called the BS out on Angry Grandma's Official Page.

I want to know why the authorities don't bother going on some mission to shut every single scammer down for good. I'm tired of the calls and texts from people who think I'm that gullible. One guy recently left a voicemail like I actually picked up (I don't have an actual voicemail greeting recorded). I literally heard other calls being made in the background from what I'm guessing is some log cabin somewhere, followed by the caller going "....helloooooooo?"

Everywhere I see a scammer I report that SOB. It's like fuckin' Hydra. You chop one head, two more others appear. The thing is that greed is the thing that motivates both the scammer and the victim most of the time. Sometimes it's even hard to feel sorry for the victim. We have a saying where I'm from "you learn the lesson only when you bump your head on the door frame"...or something like this.

they wouldnt do it if they didnt get bites,, sad but true. i know a girl that thought she was going to to bring a guy over and start a family. all in all she sent the guy 20k over 2 years.. a bunch of friends had to stop her. her mother came to us and pleaded for us to wake her up, nobody was coming. a 75 year old knew it was a scam. she didnt. what a waste
