- Season 3 of The Boys is now airing, watch it only on Prime Video! www.amazon.com/gp/video/store...
The world is populated with an abundance of superhero content at the moment, and as the MCU and the DCEU dominate the big and small screen, let’s not forget the gleefully brutal satire that is Amazon’s The Boys. Set in a world filled with superheroes who aren’t all that good, the show offers bloody anti-programming to most of the more family-friendly superhero content out there. It’s wickedly funny, full of suspense and filled with characters that utilize a terrifying skillset. But when all is said and done, the biggest question we find ourselves asking is just who is the strongest of all the characters?
It’s easy to say Homelander right off the bat. The psychopath with Superman’s powers has an iron grip on the world and most of the general public and most of the show is about finding ways to control Homelander and his near indestrucibility. And it’s safe to assume that Homelander will never grow a conscience or a sense of guilt, does his temperamental attitude and fragile masculinity weaken him compared to other heroes? How do the rest of The Seven compare in terms of strength? How does A-Train’s super speed compare to The Deep’s mastery over aquatic environments? Well, we’re going to talk about all that today!
So join me as I break down the strongest characters from Amazon’s superhero phenomenon. Where does your favorite character place on this list? Watch and find out! After you’re done, be sure to hit that big like and subscribe button for more awesome superhero content like this. And be sure to leave a comment telling us what you’re most excited about for season 3! Thanks for watchin CBR! Let’s get started!

Which superpower from The Boys would you choose to have?
Geckos regeneration, or Storm front electrokinisis
Homelanders Son Honestly if he’s a born super that honestly makes him a litteral Superman with pure invulnerability his hole body is invulnerable even his tissues
I’ll take Black Noir’s power set all day.
Home landers I guess so far
El Presidanto, I mean Stan's Super Charismatic Persuasion Power. That is real power.
Lol this didn’t age well at all, Homelander just one shotted Black Noir.
so trueee lmao
He is not dead
@@raulfirefox426 he is they're just going to make a new "black noir"
That and in the 80s they show his face and he's black.. but yeah. Lol
In the show
But the Comics version of Noir is much more different.
But the noir in the show is much better, that plot twist for him in the comics is goofy.
Updates after season 3:
1. Homelander
2. Soldier Boy
Massive drop
3. Everyone else
Queen maeve kinda kicked homelander's ass
@@srajanskgupta This is because Homelander's powers had been degraded due to proximal exposure to Soldier Boy's radiation--no blast necessary. Stan Edgar is going to delight in revealing to Homelander that Soldier Boy is the most powerful supe and that if he [Edgar] doesn't enter a code every day, Soldier Boy will be released from his canister prison cell.
soldier boy
homelander
butcher
maeve
@@emreeren7661 how is soldier boy above homelander?? doesn't make sense
@@emreeren7661 butcher? How?
Oh how poorly the soldier boy ranking was
Bro got soldier boy so wrong
Cindy looks like if Eleven never ran from that lab
Black Noir is a perfectly parodied ultimate superhero with how his few scenes show him alternating between wholesome and oddball at the party, to merciless and unstoppable killer.
E3 4=6
Those moments when he’s goofing around in the show are my favorite little bits in it honestly. He’s still a mystery even with a decent amount shown about him now in the show at least, and I hope he ends up turning coat to join the boys in taking down Vaught. He seemed like a good hero that just wanted to be known but is now likely…well, insane.
But…and spoiler alert for the most recent episode, Herogasm…
He did peace out and ditch homelander, learning about soldier boys return. And that could be a few things.
He’s gonna betray Homelander and Vaught and go help SB and or the boys.
He’s terrified because what the twins said is true (I think they lied but who knows), and so he’s just running for his life, now chipless.
Or, something else entirely.
Regardless of the what in all that, the who part still remains…I think the tv series version is gonna end up being one of the good guys still, but we have to find out and I love that about the show; that we just don’t know because of the different approaches to so much in some fantastic ways.
also there is the possibility he still has homelanders abilities maybe they just didnt make the clone white
@@rafaelagustin375 Black Noir is a lot older than Homelander. He isn’t his clone.
@@rafaelagustin375 doesn't matter he's dead now
no way bro ranked soldier boy last 💀
they were so wrong about Soldier Boy and its so funny
The one thing that bothered me from her fight with Starlight, is that it should have made Starlight stronger. Her ability to absorb electricity would make Stormfronts attacks pretty much super charge her.
www.amazon.com/The-Boys-Season-2/dp/B08C8NJQSH According to this official amazon site about the characters, Stormfronts powers are not electricity based, but plasma based
I was womdering about that, too!
Literally my first thought during that scene, thanks for saying it
The time stormfronts shows up i was sure those two get a 1v1 because SL is the perfect counter.
Starlight uses DC stormfront uses AC
putting noir at the #1 spot was a major crime.....totally whiffed on that one
The deep over Soldier boy💀
soldier boy at 15!🤣🤣🤣
Idk y to?
Everyone keeps referencing the laser my tits scene as evidence that Homelander's lasers aren't as powerful as his son's.
But what about when he was heating up the plastic bottle of breastmilk? Why didn't that just disintegrate? Homelander definitely has the ability to control his laser strength, not going 100% every time. But I do agree that the son has the potential to be the most powerful someday, being the first natural born supe.
Based
Agreed
If someone says something like he is fucking stupid and didn’t watch the film properly
@jibjones123 ok, I think we're all thinking about this way too hard lol, but I gotta give you credit, you're right. I just rewatched it, he says it'll cut her in half, and does the laser for just a second. Then she calls him a pussy to get him to do it again. He looked surprised it didn't kill her at first. So maybe Homelander can't control laser strength, but like I said, I still think the kid has the potential to be the most powerful.
Life is so serious, sometimes it's just fun to debate the power of lasering one's tits. 🙃
@@Chicomite But his facial expressions due to his expectations lacking don't necessarily indicate that he can't control his output. Like you said, he heated up a bottle of milk. There is no solid evidence to say he can't push it to the level Ryan has.
Bro really ranked soldier boy under the deep 💀
This didn't age too well now did it.
Bro thought the deep, A-train and translucent were more powerful than soldier boy
Soldier boy on number 15 is a solid joke😂
Now the whole rating is a solid joke.
He is by far number 1 :D

well this list is far from truth after Soldier Boy killed crimson
Damn that solider boy thing didn’t age well
Not just soldierboy...
Soldier boy would be second if season 3 came out
No.1 =homelander,No.2 =soldierboy,No.3 =stormfront
R.I.P Black Noir
this didnt age well
There was no way Homelander was using the full output of his heat vision.
Today Homelanders butt was kicked.
Prob regretting soldier boys ranking after watching season 3
After season 3, soldier boy should be higher since he is extremely durable and can also turn supes into regular people. The only major downside of this ability is that it takes some time to charge up.
Well, only weaker than homelander and maybe Meave
@@astra29_ctr27 ugh not Maeve
@Astra29_CTR he's Definitely The 2nd strongest In The Verse
The director said that Soldier Boy will be much more powerful than his comic counterpart so I would rank him strengthwise like Queen Maeve, also Eric Kripke said that he won't be the easily swayed and manipulated coward that he is in the comic, but a far more dangerous man, Eric Kripke has described him as "the Homelander before Homelander". And now that the show is out, we can see that Soldier Boy is either the second most powerful supe or the most powerful.
To be fair. This is the original WW2 Soldier Boy. The Coward was the third.
@@GangstaStan010 that's true
Now that season 3 is out, it’s pretty much confirmed soldier boy was the original homelander. He is definitely atleast on stormfronts level if not above
@@petesthename1588 I think he's above stormfront, if it would take a Hydrogen Bomb to take him out.

Homelander literally kills noir

Homelander just ran away to save his own life ref. HEROGASM
did you really put soldier boy beneath the deep? lmaoo
u missed so hard on Soldier Boy
I really want Starlight's power in the series to be improved. She always seemed like a superhero with weak and "useless" abilities
Same. I was disappointed when she was knocked back by Stormfront's lightning. When they first met in the "she battle," I was like, "Oh, it'll be like Thor hitting Iron Man with lightning ... she'll just turn it into a power blast." But nope, it just flicked her off her feet. If there was an explanation, I missed it. But hope she gets an upgrade.
I also don’t get why her suit doesn’t have, say, a battery, so she can use her power wherever she needs
Unless that’s something that actually is in her suit but is only within the comics or something
@@senofgray As for the suit thing Vaught doesn’t care about what she NEEDS. They literally tried to force her into a one piece. And won’t give girls pockets

Today's episode shows Soldier Boy has upgraded powers. Looks very powerful now.
actually if blast does what it advertises - he is strongest - since he is tough enough to not get 1 shooted by Homelander. Of course ... not unbeatable. As it needs to charge for some time which gives enough window for Homelander maybe.
@@Mario-kf3ej I think if he learns how to control his blast rather than doing it unintentionally after hearing that weird song, Homelander is screwed

I like to think of ryan and homelander as venomous snakes in terms if their heat vision power level. Just like baby snakes are more dangers to humans because they let out all their venom in one uncontrolled bite, ryan has more powerful heat vision because he has no control over it. Whereas homelander can clearly control the power of his heat vision.
baby snakes are not more dangerous than adult snakes, thats one of those myths thats been repeated to death by isn't true
@@brandoncomer6492 well even if it isn't I think it still applies to homelander and his son

Not really a honest comparison between Homelanders laser and Ryans laser. When Homelander shot his laser on Stormfront he didn't want to kill her. He did it as foreplay like some people do with candle wax. If he wanted to kill her he definitely could and it would be worse than what Ryan did to her.
