A real oasis of proper use of grammar,coupled with eloquent speak,sound reasoning,logic,patience,academic prowess,humble,and with manners that made this slippery "pertitioner" stand up to attention around the 10.00 minute mark.
John is giving me the impression that he has difficulty accepting that he may be wrong. He makes me think that John is the kind of guy that will stand by his principles because he believes he is right.
the problem is that Shabir asks too many questions without making a point, he can simply make his point without having to ask so many questions, John is correct in asking him to clarify his questions, and so the discussion just goes around in circles.
What a beautiful discussion..and so sensible.

Islam mean "submission" to God
( The above verse saying is that God will not accept a religion from the >MUSLIM< and the Non-Muslims but total "submission" to God )
Question: How Can Muslim And the Non-Muslim "submit" to the God?
Answer: Be kind to other human beings and Do not lie, Do not steal, Do not cheat, Do not hurt others, Do not be prideful and Do the charity work.

Your post confirms the need for an independent yardstick. The Prophets consistently came to remind humanity of the yardstick which they were moving away from. Logically it is appropriate for Prophets to do so.
